Bardoliners

Bardoliners is the perfect place to stay in Bardolino. The place looks as though it's been renovated recently, with lots of attention to detail to make everything as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and light, and the beds very comfy. The small team who run the place are extremely friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. It's located in a mostly-quiet side-street in the centre of Bardolino, with the lake and lots of great restaurants, bars and gelaterias within a couple of minutes' walk. We did find that we were woken by sounds from outside when we had a room facing the street (nothing raucous, just people talking), but the team were very helpful in moving us to a room facing the back. (There's good double glazing, so with the windows closed we wouldn't have heard anything at all, but that would have made the room a bit stuffy. That's probably not an issue in the summer when you'd have the air conditioning on.)

We have just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at Bardoliners. Let me start with the bad points - there were none at all! Only that we couldn’t stay longer! Anja contacted us by WhatsApp before we arrived to check on our expected arrival time and to ask us if we would like her to book us a car service for our return to the airport after checkout. The charge was €65 by cash and it was worth every cent. We were collected just round the corner in Piazza Lenotti and were driven in safety and comfort, arriving at the airport about 30 minutes later. No stress and no hassle getting bags on and off busses. So, we had a wonderful greeting by Anja on arrival at Bardoliners. She made us very welcome and took lots of time to tell us all about the area and things to do. She was lovely to chat to and she was so helpful. Monica managed the breakfast every day (apart from one) and she was also wonderful. There was a great selection of lovely food and she was very friendly. The day Monica was not working it was Cinzia who managed breakfast and she also did a wonderful job. I think it is Cinzia who also prepares the rooms - and everything was spotless! The room had everything we needed, with excellent air conditioning and a great shower. We loved that the street was free of traffic as it was very quiet. We also enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace. Bardoliners would be the first choice for us on a return to Bardolino - the personal contact is so much nicer than what you get in a large hotel. And we recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bardolino!

We returned to Bardoliners after 5 years, and its still as amazing as the first time😍 Maybe a little bit better, with the lovely Marta, sorry Fabio😍❤️😍 Marta picked us up at the parking, great service🥰 The new roofterrace is wonderful, a very nice addition to the hotel😊

From the moment we booked our trip to the day we checked out, we were made to feel welcome by the team at Bardoliners. The hotel itself is in a lovely traditional side street within easy reach of all that Bardolino has to offer. The hotel room was clean and modern, plenty of space and comfortably furnished. There is a fantastic roof terrace which has views across the rooftops to the sea. Breakfast was freshly prepared each day with local ingredients and there was plenty of choice. I would highly recommend Bardoliners if you like the personal touch rather than an impersonal chain hotel.

Bardoliners just does everything perfectly. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have been furnished to a great standard. The location is in the centre of Bardolino, but is quiet and feels private. The roof terrace is a lovely addition, with amazing views! There has clearly been a lot of care and attention put into the building's renovation and it's facilities. Marta and Fabio were so engaged and helpful, with recommendations, assistance with booking taxis/transport queries and so friendly. Lastly, the breakfast was such a nice addition to our stay, there was a wide selection of choices and is a very relaxed affair. Thank you so much Marta, Fabio and Cinzia!

The consistently positive comments are all true. Rooms are cute, casual modern and comfortable. The location is in the heart of Bardolino. The primary host, Marta, is cheerful and extraordinarily helpful with everything from advice on activities to dinner reservations. Nice breakfast with many options. It is such a charming, perfect B&B.
