I chose this hotel as it was close to work but I actually left half way through as our experience was abysmal.
When you walk in the front desk staff was incredibly lovely and got us sorted. However they put us in a hotel with broken AC (it was actually blowing heat in the room at 25 degrees) and very inconsistent Wifi. This made it difficult for me to work after hours and for my partner and I to have a good nights rest.
We had been travelling for 8 hours so we were a bit exhausted but relatively easy going in the beginning. However when we asked them to fix the AC they made me wait 3 hours until it was around 11:30PM until I had to ask them to switch our rooms. I followed the guest manager to one of the rooms and he had the wrong key so I had to wait longer affecting my productivity the next day at work.
The other room was small but bit more cool but found that it had amenities that were missing from ours (e.g. robes). They than transported our belongings to a new room which was much better.
I wouldn’t make much of a fuss but we paid $400 CAD/night, had to switch rooms twice in two days, and anytime we called concierge, there were significant delays in getting service. My colleagues saved money staying at nicer hotels with better service, so that’s why we left in the middle of our stay.
I’d ask for a refund but they were so slow even responding to me I don’t even want to bother.
