Aparthotel Augusta

The name of this property is a total misnomer. In reality it is a fairly new block with two nice restaurants and a reception area on the ground floor and 30 apartments of various sizes on eight floors. It is not a Hotel. The pluses.. We had a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious and on the fourth floor, which meant that when necessary I could use the stairs to get out of the hotel. I would not want to be higher up the building as having one small lift could and did mean a very long wait for the lift to arrive. The block ( note I do not use the word hotel ever) is very well situated to tubes/ buses and restaurants. All the staff we met with were charming . Even if they did not have the answers I wanted !! Serviced apartment suggests some level of cleaning. But at this block, they rush into the apartment empty the bin under the kitchen sink, maybe change a couple of towels and rush away. On one occasion the toilet did not get cleaned and as they do not supply a toilet brush ... It stayed dirty. Yuck . and we did not get any clean sheets during the time we stayed !! There is no dishwasher, so you have to try and do your own washing up without a drying rack or a tea towel to dry up with. very tricky logistics and signing that I was responsible for the cost of all breakages meant being very careful !! Be warned !!!! Check out procedure requires you to clean the apartment, and leave everything washed up and all the garbage removed by us to the rubbish bins in the street !! this is a first for me anywhere in the world. Walking through reception with a garbage bag is definitely not a repeatable experience. We were told that the apartment has to be individually checked by a manager before you get your 100 Euros deposit refunded. as a result we changed our travel plans for the departure date to allow enough time to do all of the above. As I anticipated this could be a very time consuming process. The lift process alone added many minutes to the check out procedure !! We actually missed our train out of Barcelona because we had not allowed enough time to check out. We had only one very hard sofa bed / and a table and four chairs in the lounge. In one bedroom there was a chair. In the master bedroom there was no chair and all the fittings were there on the wall for a TV ..but no TV !! Kitchen was just about adequate, although you really needed a manual to get the induction cooker to work and I gave up on the microwave !!. Not having a corkscrew supplied in a kitchen in Spain seemed weird !! The air-conditioning / heating thermostat had a mind of its own and regulating the temperature in the apartment was a task in itself.. The ceiling lighting through out was stark to say the least. HORRID !! Really harsh ceiling lights everywhere which were blindingly bright at night time. Se cercate pulizia, una zona tranquilla, modernità e comodità al tempo stesso riuscite a trovarle in questa struttura. Il personale è stato molto disponibile e cordiale. La pulizia delle stanze veramente impeccabile e nota di merito per la comodità dei letti. Stanza munita di aria condizionata, una cucina (piccola ma munita di tutto ciò che può servire), cassaforte, divano, TV, phon, asciugamani, sapone, shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Comodo alla metro e al bus. Se dovessi tornare a Barcellona ci tornerei assolutamente.

Ficamos em Barcelona dois dias, e escolhemos esse hotel e ele é bem aconchegante, também é uma excelente opção para uma longa estadia porque tem cozinha com todo o necessário. A localização é excelente próxima de metrôs e um bairro super agradável.

Ας αρχίσω με τα θετικά του ξενοδοχείου Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πολύ ωραίο ήταν ευρύχωρο το δωμάτιο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι και αυτό που μου άρεσε περισσότερο ήταν πο6 μέναμε στο 8 όροφο.Επίσης το προσωπικό （ρεσεψιόν） ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Και ας συνεχίσω με τα αρνιτικα. Ήταν αρκετά μακριά από το κεντρο και κάθε μέρα χρειαζόμασταν λεωφορεία και μέτρο. Δεν είχε αρκετά κρεβάτια ώστε να κοιμόμαστε όλοι με άνεση ήταν αρκετά βρόμικο και ήταν χαλασμένο το ένα παράθυρο

Putroppo mi ritrovo a scrivere la mia prima recensione a malincuore.. prezzo uno dei più convenienti si , ma dopo abbiamo capito il perché.. Numero 1 la casa è abbastanza dotata ma con “piccoli dettagli per modo di dire ma per delle persone che passano più di un giorno sono importanti “ partiamo dalla cucina abbastanza comoda Q Ma poco accessoriata penso che in nessun appartamento possa mancare lo Scolapasta ne bicchieri di vino in più quando sono stati richiesti gentilmente con una risposta stupita abbiamo aspettato ore richiamando in reception ma con nessuna risposta il giorno dopo abbiamo richiesto se era possibile e qua arriviamo il lato più comico di questa storia dopo averli richiesti in altra volta alla stessa ragazza si e avvicino in altra persona penso sia il propietario o comunque per l’arroganza che aveva sicuramente una persona che figurava qualcuno di più importante in questa location rispondendo te li diamo ma mi raccomando con il sorriso ridicolo !” Poi che tornino in dietro “ io e la mia ragazza SCIOCCATI tornati in appartamento pensavamo chissà magari l’ha detto siccome sono di cristallo guardiamo 2 semplicissimi bicchieri di vetro da 5 euro ma tralasciando questo è propio il gesto e il pensiero vergognoso ! 2 cosa non può non esserci lo spazzolino per WC capisco che non c’è posto per il bidè però senza spazzolino e un problema !!!! Invece che fare i simpatici che si dia un servizio degno dei soldi che si pagano in più aver paura della riconsegna dell appartamento perché si tengono una franchigia di 100€ con il terrore di sti maldetti bicchieri figuratevi se per sbaglio si rompeva uno.. vi lascio immaginare i soldi se tornavano 3 nata negativa cuniscini i scomodi troppo bassi con 2 finissimi piumoni senza coperte Unica nota positiva ragazzo simpaticissimo è disponibile forse quasi unico mitivo perche siamo restati

Grundsätzlich in Ordnung. ABER.... Es fing schon damit an, dass wir den kompletten Preis zahlen sollten, obwohl wir diesen bereits vorab, bis auf die Touristensteuer, komplett bezahlt haben. Dann haben wir beim einchecken ein falsches Zimmer bekommen. Gebucht haben wir ein Appartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern. Bekommen haben wir eins mit einem Schlafzimmer. Nach der Reklamation an der Rezeption haben wir das richtige Zimmer bekommen, welches leider nicht zu 100% sauber war. Zu unserer Überraschung mussten wir am Abend des nächsten Tages plötzlich umziehen. Andere Gäste hätten dieses Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Sicherlich war das beim ersten Umzug schon bekannt und wurde uns aber leider nicht mitgeteilt. War natürlich ärgerlich, weil wir schon alles ausgepackt ,verräumt und sauber gemacht hatten. Schade war auch, dass wir vom Hotel keinerlei Entschädigung bekommen haben. Man hätte uns ein Frühstück oder Abendessen anbieten können. Leider kam in die Richtung rein GAR NICHTS. Trotz allem ist die Lage gut und die Zimmer sehr schön. Ein zweites Mal werden wir aber nicht kommen und das Hotel auch nicht weiterempfehlen.
