Hostal MiMi Las Ramblas

Really don't know where to start. I had to book this hostel because we were running short on time and it was available, cheap and located in the heart of Barcelona, but if my trip wasn't so short i would've definitely left. The building smells like a public restroom and i had to run with my mask on so i would be exposed to that smell for a long time. The hostel is on the 3rd/4th (?) floor and the elevator was broken so you can imagine how awful that was. The room looked ok but the floor was disgusting and there was an ant infestation. The shared bathrooms were a bit unclean. It chocked me the way they store guests' towels in the reception room, without any protection. It had a microwave and a kettle but i wouldn't use them honestly. As i said my trip was short and i didn't spend much time in the room but i wouldn't be there again over any circumstance.

Arnaque ! Hotel ne correspondant pas aux photos ! Manque d'hygiène. Des poils retrouvés dans le lit ainsi que des tâches. De la moisissure dans la salle de bain. Receptionnistes non sympathiques. Passez votre chemin. Je recommande pas...

Partendo dal presupposto che abbiamo pagato una notte in questo posto ben 275€, per raggiungere la camera attraversiamo un atrio e un ingresso fatiscenti, trascurati e maleodoranti. Nella stanza le pareti erano sporche, le lenzuola macchiate e il bagno inutilizzabile con un tappetino della doccia usato, muffa sulle pareti, lavandino e doccia arrugginiti. Sul tavolo e sui comodini macchie di muffa e macchie nere perfino sulle sedie. Abbiamo fatto presente tutto questo al personale della reception - chiamando le addette in camera per prendere atto loro stesse dei vari problemi ma, nonostante abbiano provato a pulire (unica soluzione proposta dall’host) la situazione non è ovviamente migliorata. Abbiamo quindi chiesto di parlare con l’host, visto il prezzo pagato e il servizio ricevuto, ma non si è minimamente detto disponibile a trovare una soluzione per noi e anzi, in modo maleducato e arrogante, ci ha solo proposto di disdire la prenotazione. Di fronte al nostro malcontento ha perfino alzato i toni ricorrendo a offese personali, ribadendo che se la stanza non ci piaceva era solo “un problema nostro”. Avendo prenotato tramite airbnb, ci siamo rivolti all’assistenza clienti che, ovviamente, davanti alle stesse foto che allego, ci ha rimborsato pienamente. DA EVITARE!!!
