Disappointed – No refund even with a medical certificate
Before my stay, I unfortunately became seriously ill and was unable to travel. I contacted the hotel, explained my condition, and even provided a medical certificate to confirm that I wasn’t fit to travel. While they did offer to reschedule, I couldn’t commit to a new date due to the uncertainty of my recovery — so I respectfully asked for a refund.
Despite having valid medical proof, my request was declined. I understand that policies are in place, but this situation called for a bit more understanding. Being unwell and losing the entire booking fee — even with a doctor’s note — felt unfair and disheartening.
I hope the management reconsiders how they handle special cases like this. Illness is never planned, and sometimes empathy matters more than strict rules.
