I had a very good 3-day stay at shatayu. The doctor was knowledgeable and the therapist was skilled. Very pleasant and peaceful resort.

We really enjoyed our short retreat in sathayu. Very friendly calming atmosphere, beautiful property and surounding, compentent friendly doctors and eager to support and help staff. Highly recommend

The stay was amazing. This was an anniversary gift to my parents from me. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay there. Bust of shiv shambhu was the cherry on top. It was a peaceful and spiritual break for them.

I attended a 12-week panchakarma program for detox finishing in early Jan'24 and had a great experience there. It is situated in a wonderful, serene location surrounded on 3 sides by hills and one side by a small lake, and yet its only 30mins from Bangalore airport. The facilities, cleanliness and food is excellent and staff is very helpful, especially the manager Sheikh. The ayurveda doctors and therapists are fairly good at their job. Make sure you book directly with them and not through an agent/ aggregator website as I ended paying 33% more than what everyone else paid.

I came from Panamá central America I decided to spend my birthday in a magical place where I could meet myself and become my best version. I found this place in Bangalore India surrounded by beautiful mountains of immense stones, a side lake and a beautiful garden that together with the climate make this place peaceful and very comfortable which has a team of super friendly staff from the doctors to the tender ladies who take care of flowers. It also gave me the opportunity to meet very cool people from all around India and the world with whom we had a lot of fun. I loved that at all times during my 20-day stay I felt very safe. They offer therapies according to the type of body or problem that one may have and they take care of it efficiently. the walks, meditations and yoga classes are very good and productive. Of all I loved my therapist Megha is incredible in all aspects I found myself feeling very comfortable all the time. the food is delicious, the truth is that it does not feel like you are on a diet, the chef and his staff are very efficient in that area. highly recommended

All I have to say is poor service, food .and staff . Treatment if not all that effective. Need a major improvement on quality of service . Very unprofessional and accommodation need loads of improvement.

We are just back from Shathayu Ayurveda Yoga Retreat after a stay of 5 days from 11/07/2022 to 15/07/2022. The place is nestled amid hills on all sides and Avathi lake on one side. It is calm, quiet and beautiful - a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The view from Shathayu, of the hills, the lake and the manicured lawns and the garden is itself therapeutic. The Ayurveda therapy is rejuvenating and invigorating. The doctors, front desk staff, therapists and other support staff are very courteous, helpful and accommodative. A special mention about Dr Poornima, a wonderful doctor, always cheerful and patient friendly in spite of her very busy and hectic schedule. I recently stayed at Shathayu retreat in the first week of June 2022 ! The reviews on Trip advisor looked good about the place , location and food . I booked myself a luxury room ( their highest category ) directly with them and ended up paying more . A cold reception upon checking in , language problem . The luxury room had a good view of the nandi Hils but very basic and furniture and facilties were quite shabby . The balcony could not be used when it rained as had no protection . Lights inside the room are not enough and rather depressing . One evening when it rained heavily , the roof started leaking which was quite a unsettling experience . Food below average with very limited choice and heavily spicy south indian cuisine with repetitive menu at dinner , meagre Breakfast I had to make special request for fruits and bread . I was so fed up that one evening I decided to go to coffee shop at Mariott golf club which was close by ! Staff is not very trained and and request in between meals was not attended to ! Inside dining area is very small and depressing . Outside sitting area was not functional in the evenings and I preferred to have dinner in the room only . Quality of doctors , massage staff , yoga , mediation , facilities , was extremely below average . I was not happy writing this review as do not like to criticise but the stay at Shathayu retreat was not peaceful and meditative at all for me . and definitely not recommending it to anyone .

Wish I really could give “-1”star The rooms are not worth even ₹1000/ night. Imagine water dripping from roof, AC not working, no water in washroom, worst beds possible, torn bedsheets- we experienced all within 24 hrs of checking in inspite of having paid upfront for the most expensive Luxury Suite at a whopping amount cos of Arun- the sales manager of Shathayu! We realised after checking in that we’ve over paid by 60%!! DO NOT BOOK WITH SHATHAYU DIRECTLY. The only saving grace would be the food and if the management refunds some of your money like they did ours, surprisingly staff has same mindset as the management (I mean top most folks who runt he show) Poorest customer satisfaction: No temporary arrangement was made, they wont even look at you at your eye until you ask money back Once AC was fixed they disturbed us twice in between dinner to move from temp room… not even one apology for the inconvenience that was caused last couple of hrs, found out in the morning no one even checked in to the temp room.. TRUST comes with a huge price so pls delay the inevitable..
