Absolutely one of the best hotel by far and not only the room , views and facilities those are expected. I am talking about the excellent service all around from the front staff to restaurant to pool and Hskp. Just visit if you around the area

Has to be one of the most beautiful stays we have ever had anywhere in the world.. Staff are attentive and friendly and really catered to our needs.. WE WILL BE BACK!

Beautiful resort with great nature surrounding. Friendly staff and helpful. Cleanliness of the room can be improved. Check for cob webs, dust and dirt and even chipped wood since wood is heavily used in this resort. Also bidet spray should be installed on right hand side for all rooms because most people are right hander and being in an Islamic country, we hold the bidet spray with our right hand and left hand to wash our bottom. Water drainage can also be vastly improved for hand basin and bath tub. The soft pillows were too soft and flat. Didn't know we could ask for harder pillows. Better to keep the food spread inside the restaurant since people tend to only go around within the restaurant to take the food and forgot there's more outside the entrance. Will be a food wastage as such. Consider evening beach activities for family and kids since there aren't much night activities we can do in Desaru.

Glad we went to anatara for my husbands birthday, the view upon entering was beautiful, the service was amazing and room was great and there were many activities one could join. Would return!

It would have been 5/5 for service but they fell short when replying back to my inquiry via the anantara app and the miscommunication between the 2 restaurants regarding our last minute reservation. Otherwise, I was very much surprised that check-in was a breeze, staff were very courteous and attentive to all our needs and wants during our stay. Definitely a recommend for those who just wanna relax and be out of the city. Great place to bring kids too as they have a kids area to drop them off while you enjoy the sun and breeze.

ROOM Check in was normal, welcome cold drinks & towel nothing exciting. Booked a king size bed but was given a twin room; apparently a mysterious “request for twin bed” was remarks in my booking profile. Have to wait the next day for room change. Appreciate the help of the Resort FO Mgr and Kristine. BREAKFAST Tumeric- food and beverage were great. Good selection of food. Great service team, thank you Azila for so diligently making sure our table is clean. I felt the salad bar could be better for breakfast. Day one breakfast the flies are all over our food… resolution is to give us 2 “helicopter”. Anyway Day two we sat at the same table but was so much better.. guess the pest control was works. IRD Ordered a bottle of Chianti 2019 but a bottle of 2020 was delivered. Nazrin was great … offered to open and serve the wine for us. On our last night we have to order one more round of dinner; could not remember his name, we would like to express our appreciation as he has to do 3 trips for us - deliver food, deliver water and deliver salt and pepper shaker. BEACH ACTIVITIES It’s a third party service but due to strong wave, no beach activities are allowed. Hotel team should have let us know during check in but no information was shared. We saw a lot of people by the beach at the neighboring resort, we just walk there and join the fun. LUNCH AT TUMERIC Thank you Shavin for the lovely dessert. Shavin texted me about the wine vintage too. We ordered a salad, soup, fish, rice and Angus. The beef came first … wow! The rest followed 5 mins later. Service was attentive as usual. The beef ordered medium rare, one piece came cold and the rare… appreciate the chef making a new one for us. DINNER AT SEA FIRE SALT Oh well… it’s Xmas Eve and we only have a limited menu choice. It’s okay. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main… taste is so so but the portion is really sad. Lobster Ravioli 3 pcs? Turkey roulade 2 pcs with tiny sides? When we feedback the portion size to the server, his reply was individual portion size is like that … haha. We end up offering another round of dinner from IRD - Nasi Goreng kampung, pizza and a salad… taste absolutely amazing. We might as well enjoy our Xmas dinner in our room. CHECK OUT again, so so. We paid our bill and get into our car. Probably short of manning due to PH… nothing overly warm. This is a highly anticipated stay: We could have stayed in a cheaper resort but we really wanted to experience the great Anantara escape. Will we come back again… hard question but thank you for your hospitality.

We were a 3 generation family, party of 5 adults + 3 kids (1,3,5), booked for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed the hotel very much - breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms, pools, beach, kids room & teens room. However, on the 2nd day, our 5 year old grandson had a bicycle accident! Rebecca, the assistant front office manager and her team were excellent! A few of the staff jumped in quickly to provide first aid and sent my son and grandson to the clinic. They were concerned, and checked in on us frequently, offering help. Unfortunately my grandson had to return to Singapore for surgery, so we decided to cut short our stay at the hotel. The hotel management was understanding and very kindly returned the upgrade charges for the 3rd night since we had to return a day earlier. They were willing to give us a full refund for the 3rd night however since we had booked through Trip.com, the refund approval depends on Trip.com. The hotel is helping us communicate with Trip.com regarding the refund. I hope it will be granted. Kudos to Anantara Desaru resort!

I am personally felt welcomed by the bell boys and the reception. All making our family feel at home and happy. The hospitality is good and all our request and catered well. Kudos to the team and we may be back soonest as possible.

Great resort with top notch services from start to end! We booked a Deluxe Seaview room which was spacious and with breathtaking view. Facilities are also great around the resort, especially with a young child. The swimming pool is not so deep for water plays, there is a children play room, beach within walking distance and bicycle rides around the resort grounds. Would highly recommend! Only downsides were: 1) milk in the fridge was previously opened when we got there, suspect it wasn’t cleaned up properly; 2) bedsheet had stains and when we asked to change, the 2nd one also had stains.

Amazing Hotel, staying for 2nights, 1st night tried Tumaric and 2nd night tried Sea, Salt & Fire, both food was good, service was was excellent. The kids love the bath tub with soaking salt nice smell. Room is good and clean. Thank you for the compliment cake! We are happy with the service and will come again 🫰🏻
