River Bann Retreat

Stayed here December 2022, had a mouse in our lodge which the owners didn’t care less about. To be honest I can get over the mouse , these things happen however I can’t get over the attitude of the owners. Absolutely appalling way to treat guests. Incinuating I made this up in order to get a free stay is absolutely disgusting. Basically calling me a liar on the Google review almost 2 years later! They had previously left me a nasty response to my Google review but seems to have deleted it and replaced it with an accusation of lieing. The best about this is we actually went back for a second stay on September 2023 but you can be sure that will be the last!

We arrived but could not Get in. No email sent with gate codes on it. My niece contacted then through face book!!! Received the email eventually. They advertised two beds which we presumed meant two bedrooms. But no two beds is a bed in the main living area along with a pull out bed. There is just one bedroom. Ensuite is a bathroom off the living room. The kitchenette has no cooker only an airfryer for one person despite this being a lodge for 5 people. A kettle and toaster are provided. The Jacuzzi was warm but the water was not very clean when we arrived. By the second day the smell was so awful we could not use it. Obviously no cleaning agents had been put into the water. The log burning stove had a few logs in it which were damp and another few were left in a bucket. We paid £20 for this which was supposedly two bags of logs!!! All in all a Tescos bag!!!! £20 worth. Total rip off. Glad to leave the place. The customer service was dreadful and condecending. Will not be back.
