The Jumah

The reason for our 3 stars is due to the property in need of basic maintenance. Felt like a lot of things were falling apart. In saying this we did enjoy our stay. The villa was large and spacious and we did enjoy the private pool although two deck chairs are not enough for a family. We liked the location as it was quiet but within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Staff were always available when needed.

Great to have a reasonably quiet villa with our own little pool! Seperate bedrooms with ensuite was great too,however the toilet bowl was not adhered to the floor which was a bit weird but ok. The whole place is looking tired but fine for what we wanted. It would have been nice to have a small table and 2 chairs outside near the pool too without having to either sit inside or recline! The staff were lovely and would help out with anything needed and kept the place clean and tidy. I would love to see some rattan high back chairs/ lounge suite as the fabric ones are not very comfortable. You are very close to some great restaurants and eateries and also( if u like monkeys)... u can walk down the road about 10 mins and cut through monkey forest to get to Monkey Forest Rd..but be aware,the monkeys are fairly aggressive and will snatch bags jewellery.. in fact anything they want,so go through their with bare minimum..The Jumah is a great little spot and I hope to be back there again next year!

We had a lovely stay here at the Jumah. The 3-bedroom villa at the end was huge, fit with a large pool & small pool, garden, patio, balcony, spacious living room (with a tv and sofa), a pool table and 3 bathrooms. We had a lovely host called Swastika who drove us around Ubud to the places we wished to visit and he gave us some good recommendations. It doesn’t say online but they offer breakfast and we’re able could to adapt to a gluten allergy. The street we were on offered a lot in terms of bars and restaurants (including a gluten free restaurant!). Would absolutely go again!
