The Umari

We really enjoyed our stay at The Umari, Ubud. It was a relaxing stay at this small and quiet little hotel that's about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the city centre. Our room was spacious with a nice comfy doubke bed. The shower room was large with storage. The air conditioning worked fine the whole.of our stay and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Ok it's not the Ritz, but it wasn't expensive. It served us well.as a place to relax, to sleep and to use as a base for touring the area and seeing as much as we could. Breakfast was served daily on the little terrace at whatever time we wanted. The staff were always very polite and were on hand whenever we had a question or needed help or advice. The grounds are pretty, nice and quiet and away from the main road that's located at the front of the hotel. You'd never realise how busy the road is when sat outside your room, you certainly can't hear it. It's also slightly out of the city, not so far that it's inconvenient but also not so close that you get stuck in all of the traffic, of which there's alot in the city. The room was made up when we asked, the sheets & bed linen nice and fresh & crisp.

We had a really nice visit here, the breakfast was really good and the staff was the highlight of the place everyone was super friendly. The location is perfect as the rooms are a fair distance of the busy roads of Bali.
