Ubud Valley Boutique Resort is just amazing! Kind and friendly service, well kept garden, very clean premises. Beautiful infinity pool, quiet and tranquil. Everything was so nice we wanted to stay longer! Highly recommended. Wonderful bbq with traditional balinese dance and music not to be missed.

Amazing hotel around half an hour from ubud centre. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and serene wish lush gardens and a jungle view, decorated in authentic Balinese style. The villas are amazing and huge and the beds are very comfortable. The service is impeccable and the staff are very kind and attentive. We wish we could have stayed longer. Overall highly recommended. This is the place to stay for a true unforgettable vacation.

This is a charming resort close to Ubud. The cabins are spacious, comfortable, and very private. Some of the cabins have private soaking pools but the one we had did not. That was fine since our cabin faced a large shared pool and that served us well. The restaurant and hotel staff were absolutely delightful. We ate many of our meals at the hotel restaurant. The hotel also offers a free shuttle into town several times a day. You can also arrange for a very reasonably-priced taxi ride if your schedule doesn't work with their posted schedule. I also enjoyed a Balinese 60-minute massage at the resort spa. It was perfect! I will gladly stay here again.

This place is amazing -- small enough that it never feels crowded, with amenities that you would expect in a larger resort. The rooms were spacious with plenty of outside area to 'spread out'. We had a pool-suite, which was a bonus (not that the main pool was far away or bad by any means -- just nice to walk out the door and take a dip). The grounds are well-maintained (and beautiful), and nothing really looked 'unkempt'. We did a couple spa treatments (90 min massage). The therapists were great. I'm not a fan of the typical 'resort massage' (all fluff, no therapy) -- I rarely have to ask for LESS pressure. I asked for a little more and she delivered. Great massage, wish I had done 3 more. While I did not participate, they also offered yoga in the AM by the main pool. Food/dining was also not a disappointment. The breakfast menu covers everything from the 'I just want to grab a bite and run' to a full to-order french toast or banana pancake platter. Lots of Indonesian favorites too (the eggs Benedict on fried veggies is a delicious twist). Dinner also did not disappoint -- the menu offered local dishes as well as 'global favorites. Nothing was even just 'so-so'. If they offer the special 'dance night' BBQ, do yourself a favor and book it. What really makes this place shine is the staff. Everyone from front desk to housekeeping to the grounds crew made a point to let you know that if ANYTHING was needed, they would accommodate (in a genuine, unforced sort of way). It was a little tough saying 'goodbye' at check-out. I'm trying to come up with a less-than-superb comment so this review does not come off as fake.. Ok, it's a little remote (but the shuttle service gets you into Ubud in a few minutes), and maybe the lighting on the grounds could be a little better around some of the stairways. Meh. What's a minor inconvenience when you are in paradise? 100% booking here again if I ever make it back to Bali.

Private villa with infinity pool was an amazing experience. Location is quiet and just a 30 min ride from Ubud centre. Breakfast was also really great. I would say it’s definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a premium experience..

This resort was unbelievable from start to finish. We had our on villa with private pool over looking a beautiful valley. The room and pool area was spotless. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and they pulled out all the stops! Our friend organised a surprise massage and said that the resort were a pleasure to deal with. The food and drink was exceptional. The spa was AMAZING as well as the communal pool and grounds. The staff were exceptional, it was like they didn’t know the word ‘no’. They made everything possible, from activities to our transport. One staff member in particular shone, Nia. She was clear, helpful, friendly and down to earth. This is not to take anything away from the other staff who were hard working and extremely attentive. If I could give it 10 stars I would. You must visit this resort at all costs!

Positive points: - The hotel is very beautiful and matches the photos. It is located in the nature far from the centre (about 20-30 min by car), so there is a possibility to walk around the hotel and meet villagers. - The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom - 4 bottles of drinking water every day in the room - The fruit juices are very good (especially the banana juice) - They offer a second cleaning service in the room free of charge - Free yoga classes in the morning - The view is magnificent Negative points : - The price of transport to points of interest is excessive (e.g. 250,000 Rp = 16 euros versus 140,000 Rp = 8.75 euros with a taxi to Tegallalang). Prefer to use traditional taxis or download the grab app. - The staff don't speak English very well, so there's often a lot of confusion and adapting to different situations. - Staff are constantly coming up with free or paid services, which can be annoying and oppressive when you're in the hotel to rest. There is a lack of co-ordination, as during one meal we were approached three times to sign up for the paid barbecue evening that we had already been told about the previous days. - There was little staff presence in the restaurant in the evening (difficult to ask for something, long waiting times). - Dirty mosquito net ++
