Sea Breeze Candidasa

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights- it was not long enough! The huge rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly. The gardens are lovely and peaceful. Views to the ocean are spectacular. It’s a great place to relax. Snorkelling out the front at lower tides was ok. It’s a little out of town but that’s no problem as you can hire a scooter nearby or the hotel will arrange transport. It represents great value as the price is excellent for the standard of accommodation. The restaurant food is great. Some of the restaurants in town have a pickup and dropoff service which the front desk will arrange for you too. We are already planning another visit - this time we will stay longer.

The place was nice and peaceful. The room we booked had a great view of Nusa Penida, but the pool near our room was not maintained properly. Hence, we normally use the pool near the restaurant. Also, we asked for the drain in our shower to be fixed, but our shower remained flooded every time we took a quick rinse. The beach in front of the property is not suitable for swimming but the view was always breathtaking. The food they served in the restaurant was excellent. The servers were friendly and the receptionists were very helpful, especially when we needed adapters during our first day.

Very Nice place, service and staff! Extremely satisfied with our visit, we even extended for three more nights.

This is our second stay at the Sea Breeze and enjoyed as much as the first, they certainly have lifted the bar higher than the majority we have stayed in Bali over the last 27 Years. Although not a large resort it does make for a very relaxing time when you just need to chill and listen to the sea. The deluxe rooms facing the ocean are certainly the best. Large rooms and bathroom as well. Restaurant has excellent meals and the same value as outside restaurants. A $3 cab ride will get you into town. Closest outside restaurant is about 700 meters away, but why would you when they have a good variety available and you get to see the sunset over the hills. The garden and pool are kept immaculate and there are plenty of Lounges for everyone. Staff are wonderful and will do anything for you. Management has got everything organised perfectly. We will be back.

I loved everything about this place. Great staff. I felt comfortable and happy from day one. Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Great hotel with amazing view over the infinity pool. We had a Seaview room that offered privacy all whilst being right next to the pool, restaurant and ocean. Reduced prices for the rooms in low season as well. Breakfast was good and dinner was great, but it really is the atmosphere that makes the place amazing. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Spa was good too, and good value for a low price (aside from the couples massage package). Even in low season the hotel offers nice little touches such as cooking classes or trying balinese delicacies or live music. Definitely recommend if you want to get away from the busier areas of bali, Candidasa is the place to go for either a relaxing holiday or amazing diving experiences.

Seabreeze is a lovely quiet little place, right on the water, in a mid-price range. Staff are all very friendly. There are a variety of rooms, mostly at ground level. I stayed in a timber cabin that was really cute, one of the few rooms that doesn't have a direct sea view. All the room types have spacious verandahs. My bed was extremely comfortable and the shower large with good water pressure. There are 2 pools, one central by the restaurant/bar and the other, deeper pool at the edge of the resort. There is an excellent variety of food and the prices as you'd expect - about AUD 6 for a main course, AUD 8 for cocktails. This is a very quiet little resort down the end of a kampung road, about 4km away from Candidasa itself. In about 1km's walk there are a few warungs. Seabreeze can arrange a lift in to Candidasa or to hire a scooter if you have a licence. Although Seabreeze is right on the waterfront, it's up on a seawall. Views out towards Lombok are beautiful and there's usually a nice breeze. There is a reef surrounding the property and a small beach area accessible at one corner. Bring reef shoes if you want to snorkel. The water is SO clean but the corals in the reef fairly damaged. There aren't a huge amount of them but there are the usual variety of tropical fish. There is a little spa with the expected menu. A lot of the treatments are done outside, overlooking the sea or on the verandah. I had a massage and pedicure. Prices are reasonable and the treatments were good. For a peaceful holiday away from the busier tourist areas, Seabreeze is a wonderful place to stay.

We LOVED our 11 day stay here! The staff was so kind and always smiling and helpful. The front desk was very organized and reliable and booked all of our private drivers and outings for us. The restaurant food and drinks were fantastic every night and the beauty of the ocean, pool, & grounds was an amazing outdoor backdrop to enjoy our meals. There was a guitar player one night. Weather is perfect, slight breeze daily. We got several very cheap & amazing couples massages. We wanted to be totally away from the crowds & we would absolutely stay again for a beautiful, relaxed, serene, peaceful and very reasonably priced vacation. There are a few small restaurants within walking distance too but we loved the food and ambience there best. The snorkeling right there is amazing with gorgeous coral reefs and lots of colorful fish. The rooms were beautiful with gorgeous grounds and sea views. It was 2 hours from alot of the popular outings but the drivers stay with you all day and are very cheap daily rates. Would definitely get a driver and not rent a car. The driving is way too hectic. The only recommendation I have is to dim the restaurant lights at dinner time. Also our gps showed two streets that did not go to the hotel. The one that did didn’t show up on ours. But note, there’s a sign on the Main Street that says Sea breeze! Thanks Sea Breeze!!! We loved our 11 nights there! We will definitely be back!
