Beautiful accommodation, Japanese style on the island of Bahri. Quiet and natural atmosphere. Very good service. Delicious breakfast. If you want a quiet place to stay, I recommend this place.

I stayed at Shibumi in Ubud and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, luxurious escape. This beautifully designed Japanese-style boutique hotel is brand new, with just a few rooms, which makes it feel incredibly exclusive and serene. The location is ideal — just outside the busy center of Ubud, so it’s quiet and surrounded by nature, yet still close enough to easily get into town for meals, shopping, or exploring. The staff were warm, welcoming, and truly attentive to every detail. The rooms are stunning, with clean lines, high-end finishes, and calming energy throughout. I especially loved the organic toiletries — such a thoughtful touch. One of the absolute highlights for me was the two bathtubs — one on the ground floor and another upstairs with an incredible view. It made relaxing in the room feel like a true spa experience. Breakfast was outstanding — generous portions with both Western and Indonesian options, and everything was fresh, healthy, and delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet, restorative place to stay in Ubud with luxury touches and beautiful design, I wholeheartedly recommend Shibumi. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem — it made my trip unforgettable
