Mitsis Bali Paradise

Not so bad. But the quality of the food can be better all in all not again this Hotel.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Traveling all the way from the UK, we had a wonderful time. The way everyone interacted with our kids was heartwarming and made our experience even better. The food was delicious, and the all-inclusive options pleased even our picky grandmother and the kids! The atmosphere was super welcoming. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful and family-friendly getaway.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a member of staff at the check in desk. We were handed our key but not given any information about the hotel. When we got to our room we were disappointed as it was pretty run down and not as nice as it appeared in the pictures. However, we paid for a sea view room and the view we received was nice. We went out on the first evening to see what is in the area. There are a few shops and restaurants and some nice bars. It was only until I looked at other reviews that I found that the hotel have loungers on the beach for hotel guests and an all inclusive bar there too. We loved going to the beach. It is beautiful and the snacks and drinks available at the bar are great. We found the food at the hotel pretty poor as there was a lack of choice and was pretty much the same food being served each day. We found the food very boring and decided to eat out a few nights, despite having an all inclusive package. We also found that a lot of the food was stale and very dry. The bars were great and the drinks pumps were self service which was great for pool days and for the evening. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of loungers too. Ice cream was not available at the pool which we found disappointing. There was however ice cream at the beach bar. There was entertainment each night but unless you are french, it is not worth going. We went along to a quiz one night as we were told it was international. However, they translated the first part and then eventually it was all in French and we had no idea what they were talking about. The entertainment staff put on lots of fun activities around the pool. We did not join in but if you enjoy taking part then there was plenty of opportunities for this. We didn’t like how the entertainment staff reacted when you said you didn’t want to participate as they often made you feel bad for not joining in. Another thing we did not appreciate was photographers of an evening stopping us every time we went past. We were told how to pose and then they took photos of us. As much as I don’t mind having a photo taken, they were bothering us and wouldn’t leave us alone. When we didn’t buy the pictures the lady would mention this the next time we walked past. One morning, we had someone run after us with our photos and ask us if we want to buy them. It made us feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Cleaning of the room was fantastic. Sheets and towels would be changed daily if you would like. The views at the hotel are also something that I cannot fault. It is beautiful! Overall, I would not stay here again as I feel it is not worth the money we paid and it is catered more to French guests. Bali itself is beautiful and we especially enjoyed going to Bali Port via The Little Tour Train. If you are looking for a beautiful beach holiday then it’s a great place to visit. If I were to come back to Bali I would stay in a different hotel.

Allthough we got checked in to the wrong room at the start, it got sorted quickly, the views are stunning, the team are friendly helpful and smiling all the time. A special shout out to mireille, hire a car from her, also yiannis on reception, he sorted the room for us as quickly as he could, and allways said hi and smiling, and lastly the manager manolis, he made the most effort, allways checking we was okay, smiling and joking, an asset to the company. 12 days in paradise, that is how our vacation felt. The Cretans are well-known for there hospitality and friendliness towards visitors of their island and the staff of Mitsis Bali Paradise embodies this entirely. The staff is very friendly and willing to cooperate with your every desire. The hotel has an internal shop that provides in all your basic needs and has alot of beautiful souvenirs and gifts to take home. Ask the wonderful lady behind the counter to help you find a gift and she will be gladly to do so.

What a fantastic holiday we have just had.. the hotel is lovely (our room was basic but ok). Food as expected, entertainment team were fab.. special mention to Jordan especially. Mainly aimed towards the French but they made us feel involved and welcome. Evening reception Staff in general were great and go over and above to help. A massive thank you to our Greek Merman ‍♂️ Nikos (water sports staff) who saved my daughters phone from the deep blue sea.. good location although a step walk back from the beach, paddle boards and kayaks included which was amazing. 5 stars ⭐️

Unless you are french or speak french and enjoy french only entertainment and participation. We are here now and from UK and NL and when asked if there is englisg speaking entertainment we were told br FRAM the french entertainment company that they are paid to entertain french guests. More like a 2 star hotel in Marseille than 4 star resort in crete. If your thinking of booking dont! If you have booked….sorry! Nothing greek about this hotel

The rooms were cleaned to a great standard, comfortable bed, lovely balcony too. If we are completely honest, there isn’t much choice at the buffet for lunch and dinner. The beach was absolutely wonderful, we spent every day there. The pool was nice but we preferred the beach for sure!
