Unfortunately, my overall stay at Istanbul Gold Hotel Baku was uncomfortable. When we arrived, the room we were given was not the one shown in the hotel’s profile on the booking application. Initially, they placed us in a room with no windows, stained carpets, and a strong smell of humidity. After requesting a change, we were moved to a room with bigger windows, but the issues with carpet stains and unpleasant odor remained. The room also had insects everywhere, which made the experience even worse. The isolation between rooms was very poor — even small noises from neighboring rooms could be heard clearly, making it feel more like a dormitory or hostel than a hotel. When I asked about the room shown in the app listing, the morning shift receptionist told me those pictures were “just examples,” which was very disappointing and misleading. Despite these problems, I want to highlight a couple of positives. The reception staff overall were polite, and I especially want to mention Novruz, who was exceptionally professional and helpful throughout our stay. Also, the cleaning lady was very kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. I would not recommend this hotel for couples or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Baku. There are definitely better options in better locations.

I have booked a room online but they did not give me that room physically that room was cheap..and management was not good... room condition was very dirty
