Club Hotel Baja Sardinia

If not the best but very close to the best hotel we have had the opportunity to stay in. Excellent throughout. Can't say enough good about it. All parts of it were wonderful from the room to the food. You won't be disappointed. The staff couldn't do enough for you in every respect and department. Cleanliness was impeccable. I can't complain at all!!! Some people on here who have been there may not be absolutely happy, but I'm sure I can't see why....there us nothing at all to complain about. Don't let them put you off!! Wonderful, just wonderful!!

Just back from a week at this lovely hotel. We really could not fault it in any way. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a kind of suite with a TV area, a bedroom area and a dressing room as well as a bathroom with a walk in shower. We had beach towels provided which were changed daily and the room was cleaned to a very high standard. We had a side sea view from our terrace that was equipped with both chairs and a table and sun loungers. What really made our visit though was the service and welcome. We were greeted and made to feel so welcome on our arrival by Alexander and Carlotta and Leonardo made our days in the restaurant where the breakfast buffet was vast plentiful and varied and all staff there were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. We went to the restaurant for dinner on our first night as it was my birthday and the food was absolutely delightful but not cheap! My husband was left a dessert birthday cake in our room on his birthday which was a lovely touch and we could not fault it at all. As for Baya, there is not a great deal to do. We swam every day on the public beach and just took our towels and sat on the bits where there are no loungers. We took the boat trip to La Maddalena Archipelago which was lovely but we’re glad that unlike a couple we met we hadn’t booked for any longer. We are in our 50s but quite active and said we would come back to this lovely hotel but either as part of a multi centre trip or when we are much older and happy just to swim and watch the world go by. I would definitely recommend though this lovely hotel and it’s wonderful staff. Definitely worth a visit

Our 2 week holiday was wonderful. No complaints whatsoever. The resort offered many restaurants and local shops. It’s worth reading up on the area first so you don’t have any surprises. Not cheap but quality has a price. Very traditional Italian high quality area resort.

The hotel has a lovely situation overlooking the bay. It's an older property and has a very traditional feel. All the staff we met were all very friendly and professional. Sadly there is no pool and the "private beach" is a rough sandy area amid some rocks - that could be improved. Taking your beach towels down to the main beach is free or you can hire a lounger from €20 to €40 a day. Didn't eat in the restaurant at lunch or dinner but breakfast was excellent.

Lovely hotel and resort did not use private beach as the public beach opposite hotel was really great Good room very vlean, nice food great staff. Hope to return

A lovely hotel right on the beach of Baja. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble - our original boat trip was cancelled due to bad weather and they helped us find another at short notice. The rooms are cleaned frequently and the grounds are well kept. The breakfast has so much variety and the wine bar on the evening is great to finish the day. I would recommend making use of the pool in their other hotel across the bay.

Lovely two night stay here in September. Seamless check in/out, clean hotel and great breakfast spread. No pool is the only negative but we knew that before our stay and they do have a private beach area as an alternative.

We were a group of friends staying at this resort in several different rooms. The best room category is the suites as they have beautiful balconies and are renovated. The rooms were all clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the balcony but would recommend adding two beach loungers for more comfort. The hotel does not have a pool and the beach in front of it is public. Chair sets are 30 euro per day. The breakfast at the hotel was really nice with offerings for everyone. The staff were all lovely and the front desk was very helpful. The hotel is in a nice location close to restaurants and shops next door, several restaurants up the road and two of Sardinia’s best night clubs if that’s your thing. Overall we enjoyed and would stay again. The only thing missing is a pool!
