Hands down, it was the most magical, romantic place we've ever stayed. Absolutely Stunning; every detail, every bite, every space. Do not hesitate, you will not forget this experience. It all starts by entering a secret passage doorway...one surprise after another

Corte della Maestra is an incredibly beautiful place to stay. The interior design reflects excellent taste. The attention to detail and hospitality provided by our incredible hosts was the best we’ve ever experienced. Breakfast in the garden, or in the piano room when it was drizzly, was wonderful. Freshly made and excellent levels of presentation. Our room was spotless with complimentary wine and home made biscuits. Cristiana helped book us in to restaurants, organised the little tractor for our cases and gave us recommendations. The dogs are a bonus - we loved having them around. The garden is a sanctuary and paradise on busy days. This really is a hidden gem, a one of a kind special stay.

We travel to Italy for a month every year and this is hands down the most incredible place we have stayed in. Civita is out of this world. Corte della Maesta is such a beautiful, magical and memorable place to stay. It is wonderfully curated and it is clearly a labour of love for Cristiana and Paolo. The gardens are gorgeous and we have never had such an incrediblle breakfast. What makes this place unforgettable is Cristiana . What a beautiful human being she is. My mother had just died and Cristiana was so incredibly kind and gentle with me. Her love for Civita and for Corte della Maesta shows in every cup and saucer, every rose in the garden and in everything she does. She is an amazing host and helped us in so many ways. You will never forget your stay! Thank you Cristiana, so very much.

This place is magical. Gracious staff and hostess. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, breakfast was amazing. Lots of charm and character, the decor was eclectic-this place is a must stay. We felt that it was the highlight of a very active trip, and really completed our journey. Can’t imagine coming back to Italy without staying here again.

Words cannot adequately convey the unique beauty of this B&B and the experience of spending a day or even better, several days as a guest here. The attention to detail in every aspect is of the highest order, from the decor and maintenance of this spectacular property, the sumptuous breakfasts and the warmth of Cristiana, the proprietor, and her staff. This place is simply magical and unforgettable. Ideally, the medieval hamlet of Civita di Bagnoregio should experienced for at least a couple of days in order to fully appreciate its charm. Very highly recommended.

This was an unbelievable, magical place, in the unbelievable, magical Civita. Cristiana was the most caring and gracious host. She taught us about the history of the Corte, booked us a quiet dinner at a friend's restaurant, and then we had an incredible private breakfast in her garden, with fruits, pastries, eggs, and excellent coffee. I cannot recommend the Corte della Maesta enough, I am urging all my friends to visit, and I can't wait to be back in Italy and drop by again.

My stay at Corte della Maestà was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll forever remember as one of the greatest days of my life! Every detail across the gorgeously landscaped garden, maximalist mind-blowing kitchen, and rooms was clearly tenderly designed to create a top-tier experience for each guest. I felt like I was living in a film while being treated like royalty. A lot of reviewers mention the lavish breakfast feast and it really *is* something to write home about! I loved sitting in the garden during breakfast while Cristiana’s sweet (and so funny!) dogs lay beside me. I loved the dogs so much I even opened the doors to our room in the morning so they could pay me a visit. I truly think every human deserves to stay for at least a night at Corte della Maestà and I hope someday I have the privilege to do it again! For now, I have the memories, and boy oh boy are they some good ones!

There are not enough words in any vocabulary or language to describe the beauty that has been created by the proprietors of this heavenly establishment. Cristiana and her husband have clearly poured their hearts into this celestial place. Corte della Maesta perfectly echos all that is Civita, from the comfortable bedding, fine linen, spacious accommodations, and the majesty of the most incredible antique pieces. The walk through the ancient doors and entry to this special place will bring tears to your eyes. Feel like royalty each morning eating a true Italian, scrumptious breakfast. I would say so much more, but it’s best to leave some details to the gift of surprise. Delight your heart, your mind and all of your senses by coming to this magnificent place.

We had an amazing time at this B&B. Everything was perfect! The setting is lovely! The breakfasts were over the top! The host and hostess were friendly, accommodating and took care of every detail. I would highly recommend this hotel.
