Good location, pity the restaurant was closed.. Great location but we arrived on Sunday evening and the restaurant was closed. We did manage to get a meal in the services next door. We also took breakfast there next morning, as the waiter in the hotel cafeteria was so rude to my wife. Reception staff throughout our stay were most helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped.

The staff were amazing, the room a little run down but not at all bad. The on site restaurant was delicious and service there top notch.

We stayed at Las Bovedas 20-22 May 2022, and it was an enjoyable stay until we went to bed in the evening and woke up at 12.30 am by a DJ screaming to congratulate the newlyweds and starting a discotheque. Our windows faced an internal courtyard, and people began filling the dance floor. You couldn't make this up: the hotel organised a past-midnight disco set within its open-air patio while also accommodating other guests that had nothing to do with that party. The windows were useless against the cacophonous music, and the curtains barely helped with flashing lights. A call to the reception confirmed that it was someone's wedding celebration that would last 3-4 hours and that they were very sorry for the inconvenience, but there was nothing they could do because the hotel was all booked. By 2 am, I was done with it and went to speak with the receptionist. It turned out there was a room available facing the other side of the hotel after all. You could still hear the music there, but it was just about quiet enough to doze off and on and catch some sleep. They were still partying at 3.30 am, and I'm unsure when it ended. Look. First of all, it's illegal in Spain to be this loud between 11 pm and 7 am. Secondly, most guests were leaving in the morning; many had small children. Who in the hotel management thought they could accommodate paying guests that needed a good night's sleep before car journeys AND book a blasting wedding party that kept many guests awake until dawn, they should resign and never work in hospitality again. I've filled in an official complaint form and hope that the hotel will face penalties – and never subject other guests to such an experience. Otherwise, the hotel was good. Breakfast could be better, especially around the use of single-use plastic for stuff like olive oil or crushed tomato, but it was ok.

Reservamos dos noches para el fin de semana del 25 y 26 de octubre de 2024 por una boda en el propio hotel, y acabamos yéndonos antes de tiempo, en mitad de la celebración. Con denuncia a consumo, sin poder ducharte, incumpliendo la ley antitabaco… ignoraron lo ocurrido y siguieron como si nada. Os cuento: La habitación olía intensamente a tabaco, a pesar de ser un espacio supuestamente libre de humo. Lo notificamos nada más llegar. Intentaron disimularlo con ambientador y ozono, sin éxito. Tuvimos que acostarnos tarde —madrugando al día siguiente por la boda— solo para dejarles tiempo a “arreglarlo”. No tenían alternativa esa noche. Al día siguiente nos ofrecieron otra habitación, dejando claro que era de categoría inferior y sin ajustar el precio. La ducha apenas funcionaba: salía un hilo de agua con cambios bruscos de temperatura. Nos dijeron que era porque “se estaban duchando muchos a la vez”. No ofrecieron solución. Además, soy celíaca. Durante el desayuno y en la boda no tuvieron ni pan sin gluten ni opciones mínimamente adecuadas. Salí con hambre y acabamos comiendo en un restaurante de carretera. El sábado por la tarde nos fuimos en medio de la boda, sin usar la segunda noche ni el desayuno del domingo. Ya habíamos abonado todo al llegar. Aun así, nos cobraron la estancia completa y reasignaron la habitación a otros clientes. No respondieron a nuestras llamadas ni correos, y la reclamación entregada en recepción quedó sin respuesta. Esperé para escribir esta reseña porque confiaba en que el hotel o la Junta de Extremadura actuarían con sentido común. Pero tras siete meses, archivaron el expediente sin sanción y sin revisar a fondo nuestras pruebas. La resolución parecía redactada por los propios responsables del hotel. ❌ No lo recomiendo. Ni por el trato, ni por la atención, ni por el respeto al cliente. Mucho menos si tienes alguna intolerancia o alergia.
