Staff friendly and we had a great weekend. Fantastic breakfast and a central location. A little disappointed in our massages. Both were 30 mins long but we both felt that they were shorter than 30 mins. We were back in our room at 11:30 and massages were booked for 11am but started late. With dressing time the actual massages were more like 20 mins, which is short for 40€. If we went back I would not book a spa treatment.

We had an amazing family stay and enjoyed the delicious breakfast and amazing surroundings. It was very suitable for kids with the spa and the play ground nearby. It’s a beautiful place with lots of nice family activities.

An excellent hotel, great breakfast (bircher muesli to die for) lovely bedroom. All the staff were excellent and worked tirelessly to ensure I was completely satisfied with my stay. I would have no hesitation in going back again.

We stayed at the Vital Muhlon our way to Berlin. We used the hotel to explore the Harz mountains. We found the hotel very good the rooms are particularly spacious. The staff are very friendly. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are visiting the area.

I gave this five stars mainly based on the wellness centre - most impressive. At least 6 different saunas, 2 indoor pools as well as the usual massage facilities. All included (apart from massage etc) in the price of the room. The hotel is situated in the middle of the small town - pleasant to walk around and lots of longer walks available from the hotel into the Harz National park. The rooms are alright - looking their age a bit and could do with some refurbishment. A few fittings in the bathroom were poorly maintained. Quite hard mattress but nevertheless comfortable. The personel were efficient and fairly friendly. I woouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it lacked the feeling of 'exclusivity' that such hotels are keen to foster - it's the little things that were missing/strange, e.g. battery operated candles throughout the hotel! Perhaps having some nuts along with the drinks at the bar; no champagne available. Breakfast was good, some pleasant home made salads and cakes/biscuits were a nice touch.

Wonderful and sophisticated wellness retreat in the heart of Germany. Very personal service and a good atmosphere all around. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Prices and amenities are kept in good balance. A family run, very personal hotel.

In het hart van het dorp naast het Kurpark ligt dit grote hotel. Mijn moeder is niet goed ter been en was even schrikken hoeveel opstapjes er waren. Hotel niet goed geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. We hadden een grandioze grote kamer met balkon. En een zitje met een stoel en bank, waar he niet al te lang op moet zitten qua comfort. Jammer was het begin september bijna winter qua temperatuur, zodat we er maar even toen zonnetje scheen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. De Wellness Oase bestaan qua textiel gedeelte uit twee zwembadden. Een groot normaal bad dat aan de frisse kant is voor wat betreft de watertemperatuur. Het andere bad is met 32 graden heerlijk warm maar wel klein. De prijzen in het restaurant zijn aan de dure kant dus hebben we tegenover het hotel heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbijt was zeer goed met heel erg veel keuze en een hoogtepunt van ons verblijf. Al met al een dikke voldoende, maar of we er nog een t****e keer zouden boeken??? O ja… voor een eenvoudige fles water durven ze hier € 7,50 te vragen. Dan heb je toch wel weinig op met je gasten en ben je puur uit om zo veel mogelijk geld binnen te harken…

Immer wieder gerne!!! Klasse Ausflugsziel, die Umgebung ist zum Wandern sehr gut geeignet, der Kurpark ist vor der Tür (Spaziergang gleich morgens-wunderbar) und die kleine Flaniermeile lädt auch zum Verweilen ein. Wir sind schon viele Jahre zum "kleinen" Kurzurlaub in diesem Hotel. Die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter ist lobenswert (egal ob Frühstück, Bar oder Empfang) und es werden auch Extrawünsche erfüllt (Blumenstrauß, usw.).

Nach einer spontanen Idee, einen Tag im Harz zu verbringen, kurz bei Booking geschaut und dann direkt am Telefon, wie ich es immer mache, damit die Marge ( Gewinn) beim Hotel bleibt, ein schöne Zimmer, mit besten Frühstück gebucht und alle einfach genossen. Der nächste Aufenthalt ist schon im Kalender notiert :-)
