Rogner Bad Blumau

We didn't stay at the hotel. We came to visit the thermal baths. I really liked it. Design - you are immediately immersed in a fairy tale. Friendly staff. Not cheap, but the price includes an unlimited stay, a robe and two towels, which are waiting for you in the locker - large and soft. A variety of swimming pools, a cafe, a restaurant and for all visitors a basket of apples (very nice). Places for drying wet towels. Spa complex (but we didn't use it) We really regretted that we didn't stay at least 2 nights in this hotel. This place is worth a visit.

The whole concept of the hotel and the therme are just great. Due to the type of architecture perhaps it feels a bit crowded around the pools but it’s a manageable thing once you get into the rhythm. The rooms are beautifully designed and with its own charm. Dinner and breakfast are in the same dinning room, the offer is buffet for both services.

I have been to Roget Bad Blumau before, the establishment is very nice. However this time, they would not accommodate me. I was passing through the area with my cousin and wanted to show her how nice this place is. We wanted to take a 3-4hour pass for pool area like most thermal spas in Europe offer. We were told at reception that the 3 hour pass only starts as of 1st June, which is in 2 days. They did not give us the option even when asked to speak to a manager. Very poor customer service if you ask me. I live in Canada so don’t have many opportunities to visit, they said the only option was to pay full price at 54€ per person. Paying 108€ for 3 hours to me is a waste. It’s a nice thermal spa, but have also been to better for cheaper.

This spa hotel is our top favourite of all we have ever tried. It is perfect in every way you can think of and no detail is left to chance. The team is so dedicated to make you feel welcome and to do absolutely everything they can for you and then some more - this kind of personal, kind, attentive service without being overbearing, servile or sticky is actually a particular form of hospitality that is really really hard to find. So when you find it you must treasure it and support it - this is why we come to Rogner Bad Blumau time and again - with our family and also without our kids at times. Some of our kids already come with their own partners now by themselves as they have experienced this place's unique charm and hospitality from when they were really young and have at all stages in their lives felt welcome and cherished as guests. The spa itself is gorgeous, there is always something fun and beautiful and colourful to look it - it really is like no other place and it is entirely true when one of their slogans calls the hotel and spa a work of art to walk inside - it really is just that. The spa facilities are fantastic and I am not sure what else one could possibly desire as all your needs and wishes are taken care of. There is also a generosity of hospitality in everything - plenty of towels available at no extra charge, fresh dressing gowns if yours gets too wet, baskets of apples to just take one if you feel like munching on a tasty styrian treat, water with lovely herbs or fruit in the entrance hall, welcome drinks and little good bye treats, water in your room, etc etc etc Everything is just there for you and nobody demands extra payment for things like towels etc - that's so nice and makes you feel cherished, not robbed (like other places). Last but not least the FOOD: Unbelieveably nice, freshly prepared and wholesome, locally sourced wherever possible - there is a huge emphasis on organic/local/fresh/from small producers etc. and it pays dividends - the food is simply amazing and how this place does not already have a michelin star is beyond me - they sure deserve it!!! We had a "Kalbstafelspitz" with polenta on one of our evenings and it was A-MA-ZING!!!! Juicy and tender and so so lovely!!! When I asked for the chef the next morning she was so friendly and kind and explained to me how they get such an amazing result and she was so modest with it - I could not thank her enough, honestly! Right up there with the best meals I have ever had in top restaurants! Also: do not miss the breakfast buffet - its fabulous and there is so much choice you need to stay a few nights just so you can try it all. Do yourself a favour and visit this place - you will most definitely NOT regret coming! Biiiiiiiggggg thank you to the entire Team at ROGNER BAD BLUMAU! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Einfach genial, hervorragend!!! Tolle Personal, Küche ein Traum!! Für mich,die beste Therme man spürt soviel positive Energie und die Ruhe ist einzigartig. Dass Essen, alles aus der Region natürlich schmeckt man das auch! Die Therme gibt es seit 27 Jahren und wird so gepflegt, alles ist so sauber! Respekt,danke für den Ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt! Nach den mühsamen CoronaJahren haben wir uns endlich wieder einen Kurzurlaub im phantasievoll gestalteten Thermenparadies gegönnt. Nach der langen Pause unsererseits, ist es klar, dass sich einiges verändert hat. Das Personal, in der Rezeption wirkte etwas distanziert auf uns. Man erledigte eben seinen Job. Super funktionierte die SMS Benachrichtigung, wann man sein Zimmer beziehen kann. Aus rein ökonomisch/ökologischen Gründen wollen wir bemerken, dass es nicht nötig ist, den Hotelgästen eine weitere Badetasche mit komplettem Inhalt aufs Zimmer zu stellen, wenn man sowieso eine bei der Anmeldung an der Rezeption bekommt.🤔 Die Thermenlandschaft gesamt,wie damals,herrlich und erholsam. Vermisst haben wir die Schwimm „Nudeln“, welche früher immer am Heilwasserbecken für die Badegäste zur Verfügung standen. Gibt’s nur mehr zum kaufen bei euch! Ausreichend Liegen im Innen, wie im Außenbereich vorhanden. Und hier für alle, die das kritisieren: Natürlich lasst man sein Zeug am Platz liegen, den man sich morgens ausgesucht hat. Dann geht man schwimmen, probiert verschiedene Becken aus, danach vielleicht in der weitläufigen Anlage spazieren und eventuell auch eine Kleinigkeit essen und trinken. Und erst DANN wieder retour zu den Liegen, zum Ausruhen. Somit ist es mehr als logisch, dass des Öfteren eben nur Handtücher und Badetaschen zu sehen sind, und nicht auch deren Besitzer! Essen zu jeder Tageszeit immer noch vorzüglich. Die Sitzplätze im Speisesaal jedoch, besonders abends, ziemlich gedrängt. Wenn man es einführt, dass man vom Personal zu einem Tisch gebracht wird, dann muss dieses auch präsent sein, um es zu tun. War nicht der Fall. Man kommt sich merkwürdig vor, wenn man bei der Anmeldung zum Abendessen verloren in der Gegend rumsteht! Und dann gibt’s fertig gedeckte Tische für zb. 6 Personen, welche wieder auseinander geschoben und umgedeckt werden, damit man zu zweit Platz nehmen kann. Rätselhaft und umständlich!! Noch dazu sind die Zwischenräume bei den Tischen sehr eng. Bedenken sie bitte, dass die Gäste mehrmals aufstehen, um sich beim Buffet zu bedienen! Das Gastropersonal ist sehr bemüht, aber es klappt halt nicht alles! Längere Wartezeit auf bestellte Getränke, zweimal urgiert, dann auch noch das Falsche. Wir freuen uns auch, wenn leere Teller gleich abgeräumt werden, aber oft hat man noch nicht mal das Besteck aus der Hand gelegt und schon ist abgeräumt. Es fragen nicht alle vom Service, ob man sein Geschirr, etc. vielleicht noch braucht. Ein bisschen „ Slow down“ wäre angebracht, man will ja auch beim Essen entspannen! Eure Tischdeko ist schon sehr hübsch und kreativ, NUR weniger ist mehr! Gerade an unseren 2 Personentischen waren wir gezwungen diverse Vasen, Teelichter, zusätzliche Trinkgläser selbst zu entfernen, sonst wäre zum Essen kein Platz gewesen. Resümee: es war wieder ein erholsamer Aufenthalt hier mit kleinen Kritikpunkten und Verbesserungsvorschlägen unsererseits. Nur eines hat uns ziemlich geschockt: Unser Spaziergang in die

Wir kommen seit fast 20 Jahren regelmäßig fpr Urlaube ins Thermenresort Bad Blumau. Donnerstag bis Samstag war das Personal super, am Sonntag leider eine ungewohnte Vollkatastrophe. Die ursprüngliche typische steirische Freundlichkeit ist leider vollkommen abhanden gekommen, sodass man sich leider über schlechten und herablassenden Service ärgern muss. Schien auch den Restaurantmanager nicht sonderlich zu interessieren, von einer Entschuldigung keine Spur. Schade um das schöne Ressort. So schnell können arrogante Mitarbeiter einem Unternehmen nachhaltig schaden. Schade. ☹️

Su consiglio di amici abbiamo voluto provare queste terme "blasonate" al posto di quelle Slovene che di solito frequentiamo. Confermiamo il fascino architettonico della struttura, un po' datata ma ben tenuta. Ristorante elegante e sala bar molto bella con piante, poltrone etc raffinate e d'altri tempi. Cucina discreta (primi e dolci non granchè ma noi italiani siamo abituati forse troppo bene..), secondi piatti tipici austriaci abbastanza ricercati rivolti credo ai gusti locali...cmq non c'è il rischio di rimanere con la fame. Gli aspetti maggiormente positivi, rispetto alla Slovenia sono la cordialità e gentilezza di tutto il personale e l'acqua delle piscine più calda, soprattutto la zona Vulkania. Ma veniamo ai lati negativi. Trovo inaccettabile in una struttura di livello (..e prezzo..!!) come questa il fatto che un giorno si siano dimenticati di rifare la stanza (pulizia, letto, asciugamani etc) e se la siano asciugata con un banale "ci dispiace.." alla reception. La TV in stanza non trasmette alcun canale in lingua italiana (anche se segnalati sulla guida almeno 4 canali..) e sebbene, una volta segnalato, dovevano mandare un tecnico, nessuno si è fatto vedere nè sentire. Ultima cosa che vorrei segnalare è l'assoluta assenza di indicazioni stradali per l'impianto...una volta che il navigatore ti porta a Blumau devi solo sperare di individuare a vista le guglie della struttura viste su internet (..se arrivi di giorno con la luce..). Tutti gli altri dettagli sono ampiamente compensati dagli aspetti positivi...comunque personalmente la consiglio...almeno una volta se accettate gli imprevisti..!!

Wir haben einen Gutschein mit einer Übernachtung im Rogner bei einer Verlosung gewonnen. Auf Grund von Covid und der Geburt unseres Kindes war es uns nicht möglich, diesen in dem sehr eingeschränkten Zeitraum einzulösen. Obwohl wir unseren Eltern gerade einen Aufenthalt finanziert haben und auch hier eine zweite Nacht dazu gezahlt hätten, hat es von Seiten des Hotels keinerlei Kompromissbereitschaft gegeben und wir können den Gutschein nicht einlösen. Nach dieser Erfahrung werde ich die Therme, nicht nur wegen der überteuerten Tageseintrittspreise, nicht besuchen.
