Wunderschönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal. Zimmer lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Frühstück und Abendessen top! Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

We spent one night in this beautiful hotel. Parking is easy, outside and for free. On entering the village Landau (which is part of Bad Arolsen that itself is about 7 km away) make use of the castle gate and not the entrance saying it is for deliveries. The reception was efficient. Take a stroll in Landau, you will like the village as well. The rooms are very nice esthetically and very comfortable. Hygiene is perfect. Beds comfortable and the view on the inner part of the castle area very nice. The restaurant is excellent. But one warning: some starters, delicious as they are, are also large. I combined the salmon dish (starter) with the burger and that was too much. But both dishes were excellent as were the soup and the fish my husband had. The dining/breakfast area is beautiful like the whole hotel. Breakfast and the drinks in the refrigator in the room are included. Breakfast is perfect. The price of staying this is a surprisingly low. A great experience.

This is one of the most impressive locations if you are after a quiet place with a view. It is off the beaten track yet very close to the motorway and easy to get to. The facilities themselves are exceptionally good and the staff were extremely accommodating. We stayed at the hotel 1/3 of a way to our destination. The place exceeded our expectation. The only thing that could top it all is if there was a sauna or a swimming pool.

Great overnight stay at a castle in a historical village with an abundance of half- timber houses. The hotel looks great, everything is nicely renovated. The room was comfy and well designed with a great view. We enjoyed delicious breakfast.

Friendly staff, brandnew rooms (everything touchscreen), ample parking, excellent location and a breakfast that leaves no appetite for lunch as well as the regular bus shuttle service (stop at 200m from the hotel) made it the perfect base of operations for our visit to the Viehmarkt in Arolsen. We had the best of times.
