Hotel & Suites Oasis Bacalar

Beautiful, simple apartment. I wish I stayed longer. Beautiful courtyard with pool. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. My only complaint is that they should know and use only the honest taxi drivers. The one they called for me to go a very short distance quoted a charge over the phone of 80 pesos. Then he got lost and ended up charging me 150 pesos for his mistake.

Suite Mono was a perfect ground floor suite for a family of 3. The bedroom and kitchenette just right for our needs. We had many relaxing days outside on our private outdoor table/chairs, and many lovely moments by the pool reading a book. The location is great. It's very clean and well maintained. The Manager (Owner?) was very nice and always gave an extra effort. I would recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful stay. The suites are comfortable, clean and have everything you need, including fresh drinking water. We stayed with our two teenage children and it was plenty big enough. The kitchen is well equipped with coffee and a coffee maker. Location is excellent. Gardens and pool are beautiful and well kept. Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Traveling around the Yucatan Peninsula and staying in Bacalar for two nights, enjoyed my stay here at Oasis, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was a nice pool with a relaxing environment of palm trees, would recommend and come here again :) Great location walking to the lagoon

Great location, beautiful stay and helpful customer service. What more can you ask for. The resort is location close by to the beach, perfect if you are thinking about waking up for sunrise. The workers helped us out with picking the best locations to go, things to do so we could get as much as possible within the 3 days we stayed. Would highly recommend

Friendly friendly friendly! The owner gives a personal presence and is full of great information to share! And the employees are happy and available when needed. There are many long term staff which gives a homey atmosphere. We stayed a month and had everything we needed. A full size kitchen was very convenient. The furniture and storage areas are generous so the space was non-cluttered and calm. There were beautiful murals painted on the walls. I’m upset that I forgot to photograph them! We also had a nice covered terrace. Daily cleaning service wasn’t a necessity, but if we wanted a refill of the purified water, or some fresh towels they were always supplied asap! There was the cutest little helper, a child of the camarista. I love that she was able to bring her well behaved hija to work with her (family atmosphere.) We were allowed to have our adult children stay with us for a week, there was plenty of room for them in Toucan. Give the falafel cart across the street a try for a quick light delicious meal! We spent a lot of time at the large pool, surrounded by lush vegetation. And in the heat of Bacalar there was a roof over the chaise lounges for welcome shade! Oasis is only a few blocks to the square, Mercado, and several good restaurants. It is also a short walk to the famous lake of seven colors. I recommend staying here. It feels like home away from home!
