Wow! Just wow! From the moment of booking to saying farewell, everyone was beyond kind and helpful, the place was gorgeous and clean and perfect. We love the small atmosphere, it’s quiet and beautiful and in a fantastically central location. The people are helpful and knowledgeable and kind. I’m so grateful for a perfect anniversary trip and can’t wait to come back! The breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Amazing hotel. The location is wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful and the rooms, food, etc.. are the best on the island. We loved our Blue and Green Suite and highly recommend it, as waking up to be able to walk out your door and take your coffee in the pool is a dream. The breakfast is included and they don't even charge extra to deliver it to your room, which is a decadent luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spacious, quiet and private. I believe this is the only luxury hotel on the island with a beach club which is fantastic and my massage in the ocean hut was something out of a dream come true. Raquel who brought our breakfast each morning always greeted us with a smile and could not have been nicer. Sam the bartender/restaurant manager really knew his stuff and was incredibly helpful. The dining experience was unique and creative and most importantly; delicious! I only wish we had booked our table outside, but that is my own fault for not thinking of it sooner. So you may ask why only 4 stars despite all my compliments. This is for one reason only: We received terrible service from Claudia (maybe spelled Iclaudia) who ran the desk in the evening. She was rude, condescending and just unhelpful. Her first answer to everything was NO. She told us our breakfast could not be delivered at 8am because another guest had asked for the same time (and then it was delivered at 8am anyway). She refused to replace our dirty beach towels for us. She rolled her eyes at us and made us feel like anything we asked for was making us impossible guests when truly we were very polite. I am in customer service at my job and I am nice to people all the time when I am tired or angry or think they are nuts. But, they are the customer and so I do everything I can to give them what they need with a smile. When I am paying for an expensive vacation, it's my turn to be treated that way. I am not saying she should be fired or anything, but she needs a bit of training in the type of service a hotel like this strives to provide. With that said; I would definitely stay there again if going to the area. One tip: get a rental car. The hotel is only 15 min from the airport, but it really was the easiest way to tour yourself around the island and have options.

Beautiful location. Everything looks good, and functions miserably. Negligent, indifferent management will ruin your stay. 1. DINING: Even with dinner reservations we waited an hour for our table. Breakfast is not buffet, unlike every other hotel on the island, so we nearly missed AM whale watching trip due to slow and stressed out waiters. Tell guests the night before. 2. HOUSEKEEPING: One bottle limit of water offered per day to split between four adults in a suite of two guest rooms and living room. Front desk declined to restock. Towels missing every day. Housekeeping goes home in the afternoon. Front desk declined 4 towels for 4 people. 3. SAFETY: Dark, poorly lit gloomy rooms. Impractical, crazy, dangerous shower set up in middle of bedroom with no curtain, no glass, open shower over looking bed. Entire bed and slick cement floor soaked by shower. No bath matts. We slipped and gashed wrist on bed post. Sad to think that someone will hit their head. 4. GYM: Located in a glass hot house. Huh?? Gym is stifling. Can't work out. We emailed management multiple times after our stay to voice our concerns privately. No response. Silence says all.

My fiancé and I had one of our best vacations to date. The villa we had was beautiful and our view was one of the best to wake up to every morning. Our staff was very accommodating with local recommendations for food, travel and ways to move around the island. We were given a cell phone to communicate with the front desk each and every question we had a they were very responsive. We will 100 percent be back.

What a wonderful place to stay!! The staff are welcoming, gracious and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of ocean, fields (and grazing cows), town and sky. The wellness center is lovely with a large jacuzzi. (Reservations needed for private use of the center.) Dinner at the on-site restaurant was extraordinarily delicious. (Reservations strongly recommended.) Ocean views from the main building and the look-out are spectacular. We loved every minute of our stay.

We loved our stay! The staff was really great, especially Claudia at reception! She was very nice and super helpful. Everyone was very accommodating of our baby and the hotel grounds were very family-friendly!

The helpfulness of all the staff was excellent, the breakfast is outstanding, as is the view from the restaurant and bar. The location and the beach are dramatic and beautiful. The hotel has been built sensitively, in harmony with the hillside, so much so that when we arrived in the dark and late, due to flights affected by a storm, we could not initially see the dark brown front door, it blends in so well! Our 9 night stay was perfect for the family to celebrate both of our wedding anniversaries. The younger couple found the hiking trails beautiful and great for the morning run but they do require a car to get to the start as the road by the hotel is not safe for pedestrians. Swimming pools are not heated, so are for summery days. Reception staff provided helpful and reliable advice and issued us with a list of recommended quality restaurants which they were happy to book for us. Food on the island was in general very good for fish and sea food but vegetables were unexciting.
