The body body scrub and massage with Jimmy was simply a delight. He is very experienced and takes care of you in the best way possible. He makes sure that intensity and your wellbeing is his highest priority. I can only recommend visit the spa and book a treatment with him.

We’ve been to a few Hotels normally 4 star so excited to stay in a 5 star. It however fell short so we were very disappointed - it’s definitely an average 4 star hotel. … I feel that my reviews are honest, so would like to start by saying the hotel itself was stunning being on the beach. The room was also great, we stayed in Block 8100, which was a fair walk from the main reception. There were loads of cats, which we didn’t mind, but if you’re not a cat lover, maybe not for you. The room was really nice and clean, but we ended up road side which was disappointing. (we didn’t book a swim up room as it was more expensive) There was no information in the room regarding what the protocol was or what was going on at the Hotel. We were advised that all the information could be found on the TV which meant I had to remember what was going on....... There were some working screens around the Hotel, but they weren’t always up to date. So we had to go back and ask some things again and ended up writing them on my phone noted. SERVICE: The first few days were great as it wasn’t too busy and nothing seemed too much for the staff, but once we got past the weekend it was very busy and the staff looked overworked and overwhelmed. We went from the table being laid up with knives and forks and spoons, and being looked after with drinks, to minimal cutlery and plates piles up on the tables around us and no one servicing the drinks for dinner. As it was cold most people ate inside and I don’t think the staff were able to cope. FOOD: The food selection was rather small, we would have expected double the choice for a 5 star hotel, it was definitely not as good as we have been used to in the past. Again, it started of with all the dishes having a label above stating the name of the dish, to not having any label towards the end of our stay. One woman complained as she wanted to know if the dish contained nuts!! Also, the food was often hit and miss as it was often cold instead of hot…And the choice was very limited, with the same pork menu and pasta most nights. I was surprised we didn’t have more fresh fish on the menu, but that might have been reserved for the Sushi Bar, which you had to pay for. Limited options for breakfast in the main restaurant with no cereal and one toaster!! The fruit selection was the worst I’ve seen, apples pears banana. The children’s selection of food was the worst I’ve come across. Breakfast was on until 9.30 which was rather early, with no backup other than the outside Streat Lab, which didn’t serve late breakfast. However a couple of days before we left they opened up the Italian restaurant and served breakfast until 11.00 am Although the information stated that there were 6 different restaurants, 2 were closed when we arrived and the barbecue as cancelled as it was too windy. One of the restaurants stated Adults Only and there were children running around (although I don’t mind children, just advertise correctly) The Streat Lab

Really enjoyed the room and variety of pools. The restaurants have a good selection of food the whole family enjoyed. Today I enjoyed a massage and facial at the spa. Vita gave a wonderful facial and Lorena was helpful selecting some products to buy.

*Review for Mare spa only* The massage was great. Lovely spa facilities. Lorena was fantastic. I didn’t want the massage to end. Great at determining the pressure of the massage and focused on my tension areas. It is not a cheap spa but I feel I got the quality and service for what I paid for. The staff were lovely and very attentive and they were great at trying to match what my requested were. Do ask for a discount and where they can they will try and meet your requests. We also managed to get a gift of using the spa facilities (sauna etc) for free.

We recently stayed at Hotel Marr Aiya Napa in Cyprus and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and high standard of service throughout the entire resort. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, offering a wide range of amenities that made our stay both relaxing and fun. The pools were a big hit with our family—clean, spacious, and perfect for both adults and kids. The resort also features a spa, gym, and a well-organized kids’ club, all of which added to the overall experience. Dining at Hotel was a true highlight. There’s a great variety of restaurants on-site, each offering delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was consistently fresh and flavorful, with something to suit every taste. A standout moment of our trip was celebrating our daughter’s birthday at Mandoline, one of the hotel’s signature restaurants. The meal was outstanding—beautifully prepared and full of incredible flavors. The service was exceptional, and a special thank you goes to Adamos, the restaurant manager, who went out of his way to make the evening truly memorable. He personally looked after us and even arranged a surprise birthday cake for our daughter, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, the Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and create lasting memories. We’ll definitely be returning!

Mare Ayia Napa I should start by saying that we (2 adults and our 11 yr old daughter) are real foodies. We’ve been to Rhodes and Kos previously many times, staying in Atlantica and Mitsis resorts. Our requirements for a resort are that it must be all inclusive with great food, a la cartes, beach and waterpark. Mate Ayia Napa ticked all the boxes! We travelled with TUI from Dublin. Buffet: there is a vast selection of food, loads of tasty dishes, different choices everyday. Breakfast: Plenty of fresh fruit including strawberries, yogurt, selection of cold meats, cheeses, pickles, pickled fish, cereal, breads, pastries, waffles, hot breakfast selection of sausages and many egg dishes. Lunch & dinner: Lots of vegetarian options: tasty roasted veg, veg stews & curries. Really good pastas, different roast meat each evening, fish dishes, curries, calamari, duck, baked potato with different fillings, pizza, soup… just an incredible selection. You would find it hard not to find something great to eat. Incredible deserts, beautiful mousse cakes, profiteroles, cheesecakes, selections of fruit, etc Kids corner with pasta, fish fingers, veggies and desserts. There was always plenty of food, no queues and always tables available. We loved the buffet so much that we cancelled the Burger Club a la carte to eat at the buffet on the last night. Greek a la carte restaurant was superb, setting and view are fabulous. Service was impeccable. Really nice red wine and food. We were brought a selection of starters, which was a lot of food, followed by a choice of mains, we chose a chicken doner, chicken kebab and prawns with orzo. Orange cake served for desert. Everyone enjoyed their choice. Italian a la carte was delicious, lovely starter consisting of a buffet style selection to choose from. Really good mains and the desserts were really wow. See photos BBQ was super too. Lovely salad with pitta to start. Followed by burgers, steak, pork wrap, sausages and chicken wings, chips, coleslaw and sauces. A vast amount of food. Baked Alaska for dessert which was impressive. Good service and a lovely location overlooking the beach. The activities were the best fun. Cedric who organised the activities was super. He got us all involved. We had some craic trying everything from shuffleboard, archery, tabletennis, darts, waterpolo... It was a really good laugh. Cedric made the holiday and was so good with children and adults alike. He was really good at explaining how to do archery etc and inclusive of all. Even joining in water polo himself to keep the teams even. He’s an asset to the hotel. We were all sad saying goodbye to Cedric. The resort is beautifully laid out. We stayed in 8121 which was in the residences, a limited sea view room with a partition. We had a lovely view, it was lovely and quiet, real comfy beds. No complaints whatsoever.
