Champagne Domaine Sacret - AY

Our visit to Champagne Domaine Sacret was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Champagne. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, authentic, and incredibly well thought out. This is a family-owned B&B. The setting in Aÿ is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by beautiful vineyards that perfectly capture the charm of the Champagne region. The hospitality was exceptional; the hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, complimentary champagne tasting every evening at 6 pm is cherry on the cake. The champagne itself was outstanding—refined, elegant, and memorable. Each tasting came with insightful explanations, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. You can really feel the craftsmanship and heritage behind every bottle. What stood out the most was how personal and genuine the entire visit felt. It wasn’t just a tasting—it was an immersive experience into the world of champagne making. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region. Whether you’re a champagne enthusiast or just looking for a unique and relaxing experience, this is a must-visit.

This was our second stay at this quite wonderful place, located in the middle of the town of Ay. Although there is no restaurant a plate of charcuterie and Cheese is available pre-ordered in the evening, and well worth having. There was nothing special about the breakfast (the usual French offering of Juice, pastries, jams etc) it was most enjoyable. The staff were terrific and really did make us feel welcome.

A cozy, home-with-family like place with a walkable distance from everything. They also rent out E-bikes, which will get you even further! Rooms with character, and can't remember any other place this silent! Will definitely come back, already recommended to others. 🙏

The rooms were clean, the staff were wonderful, the breakfast was tasty and fresh and the tastings were great!

Great place to stay, very well decorated and freindly. There is the added bonus of champagne tasting at 6pm and a little champagne house (Georges Debouff) just around the corner to visit.

Great, intimate hotel near many Champagne houses We wanted to stay in a hotel near Champagne houses in Epernay and Reimes. It is close to Epernay in a small town called Ay-Champagne. The hostess was lovely in greeting us during checkin. She requests checkin between 5-7. She does a private tasting or Sacret Champagne during your stay. She had a delicious breakfast each morning. Our room was very comfortable, updated and quiet. There are only 4 rooms at this inn. It was a perfect place to stay as a base while in Champagne.

Stayed with my partner for a couple of nights, the place is beautiful and well maintained. Owners and staffs are lovely and very welcoming. Very nice breakfast, champagne testing included in the price of the room. self service bar available 24/7. Perfect location to visit Epernay. Highly recommended!
