This hotel is so beatiful and great view. Reception. Housekeeping and all staff so friendly and everytime smile look. Our room attractive look and clean and tidy as well as high comfortable. Housekeeping staff so helpful and very kind people. Fine foods with we enjoyed throughout our stay. Everyware natural and great view surrounding so many beatiful. We will return definitely and highly recommend this hotel for all of you any vacations. Thanks for everything.

The resort has lovely grounds staff are very accommodating and helpful. Lots of food options and fresh everyday. The Rooms were clean and high ceilings allowed for the room to stay cooler. Pool area is clean and relaxing Would return to this resort on my next visit.

Tharindu looked after us well! Great staff, breakfast was good...pool was a great way to spend afternoon, cheap tuk tuk into town if you want to experience town, rooms were spacious and garden setting, could easily come back, all in all nice place to go

Stayed here recently for 2 nights as part of a Trip A Deal tour. The property looked was reasonably clean with accommodation in blocks of 6-8 rooms with some upstairs. The room we had was quite big with a smallish bathroom all with a polished cement floor which takes a bit of getting used to but is better than you might think. The property had heaps of bugs flying around at night which you would expect in a country location. It is located away from any shops / restaurants. There were many bird / frog sounds at night which I found quite pleasant and relaxing. The pool was cooling and clean. Where it falls down is in its administration. They employ a clunky system to track your expenses and in the morning when trying to settle up they had slips of paper flying everywhere. Most groups had problems with their accounts. Some people in our group had problems in getting the right food / drinks orders, and in some rooms the air conditioning didn't work. Also found it strange they had no coffee sachets in the room. Would probably choose to stay somewhere different if I had the choice.

Great hotel for a stop over, should put more than 2 tea bags in room and coffee a bit stingy. Great pool just watch price of beers as was told 900 rupee but changed to 1800 so just beware rooms comfy restaurant fine, staff very helpful nice place to relax, breakfast good. Local restaurants a bit to far, so hard to have a choice,

We were on a trip touring Sri Lanka and this was our second hotel, basing ourselves there to be near the Rock and other tourist attractions. On arrival Lovely staff member showed us to our room, pointing out the relevant things, tea and coffee making area, but there was no kettle or coffee sachets. Mosquito repellent plug in, was empty? The young staff member said he'd be back with a kettle and coffee so I asked him if he could also bring ice. He came back with only the kettle and said we would need to call reception for coffee and ice, which we did and told they do not give out coffee sachets? Anyway when my husband and I went for dinner we took some of the coffee sachets from the beveridge area back to the room. There are no bars or restaurants outside the hotel, it is very isolated so need to eat in the hotel which was very reasonably priced but not a great menu. The dining staff try very hard to get you to have the buffet at night, and I can understand why, but I am not a lover of buffet dining and just wanted something off the al la carte which is very basic. Food was ok. Staff in the main were very friendly but so many young trainees who cannot all speak English. We felt there was lack of management in the dining room but especially at the front desk when we went twice to say that water bottles had not been left in our room and then back again next day as could not get into room as key was bent? It was manned by young trainees who I felt just did not have a clue. Also the lighting en route to our lodge was not on and I stepped off the slabbed pathway into a large puddle as could not see. Hurt my ankle and new white trainers filthy with mud with the brown earth. Large bedroom and shower and all was clean. The resort is nice enough but feel they really need to up the service and have more structure. For the 3 days we were there, the hand gel still had not been refilled in the ladies toilet at reception. Small things that should not be overlooked. I am sorry to be leaving this review with some negatives and it was the least favourite for us, out of the 6 hotels we had stayed in over our trip.
