Hotel Don Carmelo

I arrived very early and the bags were held for me in a locked storage room until I formally checked in in the evening. They said check in was from 13:00 but I returned much later. The hotel is very close to the railway station outside the old walls for which Avila is famous. Buses are cheap at €1 and the #1 and a few others stop close by that can take you to or frommthe old walled city. But it is only a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is simple evidenced by the traditional key on a heavy knob. This can be left behind. The room and the bathroom are fine but not luxurious. The towels are quite old though. There is a cafeteria attached open to the hotel and the street. Food and drinks can be brought form the cafeteria to the lounge / TV room. Thus the hotel is fine and good value for money.

Muy buena opción en Ávila, un hotel de tres estrellas cerca de la Muralla, a 10 minutos dando un paseo. Aparcamiento para despreocuparte del coche, limpio y lo más importante, una cama muy cómoda, personal amable, la cafetería te permite desayunar o tomar algo al regresar al hotel.

Muy bien, tuve que hacer noche para trabajar al día siguiente y es perfecto. 🏢 Ubicación buenísima, al lado de la estación de autobuses y de trenes. 🛏️ Habitación cómoda, con armario grande, reposamaletas, buena luz, cama super confortable, TV y A/C. 🚿 El baño limpio y bien equipado, el suelo además no se enfría tanto como el del resto de la habitación, cosa que se agradece mucho los días de frío. 🥐 Tienen desayuno muy completo en la cafetería, te atienden en mesa y los camareros son muy majos, además que incluso en fines de semana abren a buena hora. 💻 Buena conexión Wi-Fi en todo el hotel. 🤵🏻‍♀️ Muy buena atención por parte del personal de recepción y cafetería
