Shila Athens

It's so cool, very chic - an absolute hidden gem. The staff are lovely, professional & helpful. Breakfasts are amazing. The bigger rooms are like apartment's - and beautifully furnished. Tucked away on a very quiet street in Kolonaki with shops, restaurants & bars nearby and a 10 minute walk down into town. Even the roof top space is cool! What a find this was. Utterly enchanting.

The price is very high and doesn't correspond with my expectations. The room is too small and doesn't have a wardrope nore a place where to put your chlotes. The litle garden is not clean and is under emergency stairs. I wouldnot recomande this so cald boutique hotel.

A beautiful and stylish hotel very close to many Athens attractions. It has been decorated with so much taste. Our two rooms were fantastic with their own courtyards. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with unusual pieces of furniture and extremely comfortable beds. The delightful rooftop space was great for breakfast and for a pre dinner drink. Every one of the hotel staff was delightful. Professional and very friendly. They really made our experience very special. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Far better than staying in a hotel, this luxury guest house is an absolute gem. We had a two bedroom suite, decorated in minimalist style, with two bathrooms. But the standouts at the Shila are firstly the staff - super helpful in arranging tour guides, transfers and restaurant bookings; and the Shila’s rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served and where we had early evening drinks - all very civilised in the birthplace of civilisation! nb the Shila does not have “traditional” hotel facilities such as a restaurant or spa etc

Very elegant, charming and friendly secret place in Kolonaki… In an ancient Athenian house. Beautifully furnished. Very comfortable. Full of plants. Some private gardens. Exquisite breakfast. An unforgettable experience.

A real delight: The most incredible staff and a beautiful room. We’re a well travelled couple in our 50’s and we’ve never experienced staff as wonderful as this. Nothing is too much trouble and they exude warmth and charm all the time. We had 5 nights here in April 2024 and stayed in a room called Romantic Dust. The room was beautiful and very instagrammable if that’s your bag! It lacked a bit of storage and practically for a 6 day stay but the bath tub was lovely, breakfast in our garden room was a real treat, the floating bed was comfortable & great relax on after a busy day exploring. The staff make it what it is though. You won’t find better.
