We recently spent three days at the Ilisia Hotel for a business trip, and we feel compelled to express our disappointment with the accommodation, which did not live up to its 4-star rating. The view from our room overlooked a dilapidated inner courtyard, which was poorly concealed by keeping the curtains fully drawn. The cleaning service was inadequate, as by 4 PM, our towels had not been replaced. The noise from the shower was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep, and the walls were incredibly thin, allowing us to hear everything from the surrounding rooms. While the breakfast and the location were satisfactory, the overall experience was certainly not worth the 155 euros per night.

Very comfortable beds. Very polite and helpful personnel. Central location in Athens close to the National gallery, the music hall, the war and the folk museum. The Syntagma square, the historical Centre of Athens and the Acropolis, a short distance away. Adequate free breakfast and complimentary water and soft drinks in the room.

I recently spent three days at your hotel for business purposes, and I must say I had a very disappointing experience. I paid 155 euros per night for a double room, yet I was given a small single room. Upon bringing this to your attention, I was moved to another room, which was an unrenovated and shabby room with a terrible view of the inner courtyard. I was then moved to a third room, which was better than the previous two, but not up to 4-star standard. Given this experience, I will certainly not choose your hotel again in the future.

A really nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a good size, with a very large balcony and a good sized bathroom. The air conditioning was controllable - an important factor for us. The room was serviced every day, though I would hve preferred to reduce this frequency as it is not always necessary. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of options. The availability of parking was important for us, though access was a little challenging. The location was good for us as we could either walk into the centre or catch a bus / metro from around 5 minutes away.

Cute little hotel. Well situated in Athenes. Theres a gym 3min walk away which is important to us. The parliament and plaka are super close too. 4 euro UBER takes you to all the important landmarks. One thing I didn’t like is that the shower is so small I couldn’t shave my legs properly without banging it against the door. The breakfast is very good and has many options for all diets. The only thing beside the shower is the the spray they put all over the hotel. It smells like cheap cologne and it gave me headaches. If you have smell sensitivities, not a hotel for you. Staff was super friendly and overall good experience

Very clean rooms and a great area however the biggest highlight is the Team working there especially the receptionists. Very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much for them. Overall a great experience

My family and I just returned from our stay at Ilisia Hotel in Athens. This is the second time that we stay in this hotel as we were looking for a beautiful, clean hotel with personable, genuinely friendly staff and this is exactly what we enjoyed throughout our stay there!! Everything from the reception staff to the breakfast and cleaning staff were always ready to help, discreet and smiley which made our stay even more special!! It is a very sweet hotel and we were happy to know that they are expanding themselves as we speak to built apartments for guests! We would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone for everything they did for us and wish them a very happy and prosperous new year!!! We look forward to coming again in the summer!! Very nice family hotel in a nice location that is close to metro. The hotel is strongly recommended by considering its helpful and smiling staff, clean and well maintained room and bathroom; generous breakfast and bar as well as its reasonable room price.

This wonderful hotel was situated close to restaurants, ATM on a quiet area of Athens. Everyone from the reception, bellman, bartenders to the delicious breakfast every morning were top notch in their service. . The rooms were clean and quiet with double doors on the balcony, which we were happy to leave open at night . There is an elevator or stairs , it is a perfect place for conferences as well.

Nice, clean, ok breakfast, great fresh orange juice, free minibar with beer and soda. The bathrooms on the upper floor need renovation, the showers are very small (bathroom on the first floor was completely new and great, but my colleagues weren't that lucky).
