Neapolis 1897 Boutique Luxury Rooms

Unfortunately, there is no zero to rate this place. Owners are thieves, rooms are overpriced and breakfast is unhealthy. For more objective reviews visit other platforms. No parking, no proper sufficient facilities for disabled people and a big mess overall.

The breakfast was excellent. The bathrooms were nice. The location was...not very nice.

Exceptional service from reception staff, the young lady who drew maps and informed us of where to go was brilliant, I am Sorry I have forgotten your name,apologies Nice ground floor room,great breakfast and central for Athens Town centre

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful especially Odysseus and Katherine! Breakfast was good - eggs, bacon, breads, yogurt, dried fruit, and room had a terrace view of the neighborhood. Walk to Syntagma Square was a bit too far for these two seniors, but there was a bus stop about two short blocks away that made it easy to get to the square and connect to other bus/tram/metro lines to get to other attractions. Staff arranged for a taxi to the airport since we were departing early, and made us a nice breakfast to go.

Don’t start here. Shows cheap price, much reduced from normal rate, but room tiny, mattress awful, curtains not dark enough and breakfast a ***show

THE HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL , THE SERVICE EXCEPTIONAL AND THE ROOIMS WERE VERY ROOMY AND PLUSH. CHRISTINE WAS A DELIGHTFUL MANAGER ASSISTING WITH OUR BASIC TO OUR MOIST RIDICULOUS QUESTIONS. THE OTHE LADY THERE PLUS THE 2 GUYS WERE ALSO EXTREMELY HELPFUL. DEFINITELY WOULD DROP IN WHILE IN ATHENS. GREAT PART OF THEH CITY WHERE YOU GET A FEEL FOR THE INNER CITY BURBS.

Rather far from Public Transport, though a good 20mins walk to Plakka and 5 euros for a ride back to the hotel The hotel is located in the outer part ,not central in an up and coming area with a few local bars and restaurants that looked really nice too. The receptionist was sooo kind and charming with a professional touch. She showed us to our room and told us a few things about it. THE ROOM Very small although it had everything we might have needed. ( Espresso machine, kettle , tea coffee, ( no Milk!) fridge with reasonably priced items and 2 complimentary bottles of water! Also an iron and small board, gowns and slippers. BATHROOM Small but adequate with amazing taps and the shower cubicle has 4 various settings… too many for a small space! But it did the job. The complimentary gel was nice as well as throw away toothbrushes etc… nice touch The mattress was not the most confortable of all , bouncy and rather worn it felt! BREAKFAST Adéquate ; toaster, coffee machine…. The bread was not too fresh ( I have loved the bread throughout Greece, after France ,one of my favourite) but here it needed toasting as it tasted stale. The fried eggs had run out so the lady quickly made some more upon our request. Breakfast was ok. Although in a nice roof top the lay out could be better. In general, we enjoyed our short stay, the STAFF made all the difference by their kindness and interest in the «  guests » . We were shown a larger room, which we will gladly book for our next Athen’ s visit! Thank you to Dimitris and the 2 ladies that we met ( sorry didn’t get names)

Stayed here a couple of times during last month. Its a really nice hotel, renovated at Exarcheia neighborhood which even now has nice appeal as a tourist. Its located near the ciry center, with a lots of bars around, not so clean area though and you may experience some parking difficulties. The hotel offers you the option to reserve a couple of spots with charge on the public!!!!!!!! road which i consider it pointless and to be honest rip off. Other than than the personel is excellent, alweays with a smile, happy to assist you, the breakfast is served on the third floor on a small picturesque balcony which during summer days was enjoyable. Rooms have espresso machine, fridge, tv, wifi ofcourse. They are pet friendly (thunbs up) there is elevator, rooms are kind of spacious, with a lot of gadgets and a nice modern touch.
