Nice stay in a beautiful little mountain town

Negatives: When I booked I didn't realise that the restaurant was closed. We therefore asked to stay only one night but you wouldn't refund the second night. There were only two restaurants open in the town! It was a very nice pizza restaurant but the next night it was closed and only ONE place was open in the whole town which we didn't like the look of. The Hotel refused to give us plates and cutlery to eat the food we bought in town in our room. (The next hotel we went to also had great reviews for the restaurant but we didn't know that was closed in the evening out of season; they were incredibly helpful and gave us plates and cutlery etc. and let us take our wine glasses up to the room, very good in comparison!) The room was basic considering we had paid for a better room, the bedside tables were upholstered therefore not good for putting a glass on. The view from the balcony was of a very untidy storage area. One of the chairs was broken, we swapped it with one from the next balcony. The rooms and corridors smelt despite air fresheners absolutely everywhere. The lounge was full of furniture and boxes from the kitchen dining area as a refurbishment was underway. Positives: The staff were nice. Breakfast was good.

The staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located in the center of Saint Lary and has free private parking.Everything was excellent; a downside however concerns the location of the selective sorting bins (very well) located at the entrance to the hotel. A little more discretion would be welcome.

This hotel was simply lovely. The staff were genial, in a family run enterprise. They were also warm and welcoming. The hotel and grounds were beautifully laid out, in a village tht was equally charming. The room itself was well appointed including critically, a comfy bed, and to top it off, a great breakfast.

This independent hotel is friendly ,quiet and very comfortable. It also offers good breakfasts and has an excellent restaurant. Despite being in the very middle of the village it has a large ,safe free carpark. The staff are excellent ,efficient and friendly

A lovely hotel in a wonderful mountain town, staff and facilities were excellent. Room with view of the mountains was excellent, and we were able to park our campervan in the hotel carpark. Hotel is centrally situated so just a hop skip and a jump to the centre of town. We hope to return in the winter for some skiing. Only minor gripe - the hotel restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday evenings although we found this to be pretty standard in France wherever we stayed, not really a problem as there were lots of great restaurants very close to the hotel.

Great hotel in a lovely village; nice staff, room clean and pleasant

LE PERSONNEL ÉTAIT TRÈS ACCUEILLANT ET SYMPATHIQUE. LE LIT ET L'OREILLER ÉTAIENT TRÈS CONFORTABLES. LE PETIT DÉJEUNER ÉTAIT COPIEUX ET DÉLICIEUX. L'HÔTEL EST TRÈS BIEN SITUÉ ET L'EMPLACEMENT DE PARKING ET LA PROXIMITÉ DES COMMERCES C'EST TOP. J'ESPÈRE AVOIR L'OCCASION DE REVENIR POUR PROFITER DU RESTAURANT.

Hôtel très confortable,avec en prime le bonjour de Youki le chien de la maison . Nous avions découvert le restaurant en février ,c'était très bien, mais le nouveau chef sublime les produits de très bonne qualité encore mieux !! Le bœuf et la truite sont un véritable régal !!
