Altura Hotel

A great hotel, staff are so friendly and can’t help you enough. Clean bedding and rooms kept clean,could do with a bathroom tidy up. Food was good for a three star and good selection at all meal times. The so called Hill, is small do not let it out you off!!

We are currently here. Friendly staff food is good, drinks are plentiful & as strong as you want them to be. The room we have got has great views of the sea in the distance-we e mailed ahead asking for a high floor, sea view & we have had them. The room is modern but could do with extra storage units. The nightly entertainment isn't for us-bingo, karaoke etc. It would be far better if all inclusive was from midday to midnight as opposed to 11am until 11pm. Also,smoking/vaping is a big issue. It's no smoking in the reception area or the restaurant area where people eat & drink but is allowed in the bar area where people still eat & drink. There should be a smoking zone set away from the bar area as those that light up spoil it for non smokers. Supposedly it's no smoking on sunloungers but people are smoking/vaping on them especially on the upper sun deck.

The hotel is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. Children's pool was tucked away round the back and dirty, we did report this and it was cleaned the next day. The entertainment was ok but we enjoyed it. Rooms were cleaned daily. The bar staff were great with the children, they happily made mocktails for the children. the snacks were ok but a little small. I understand this is not the hotels fault but the flies were never ending while by the pool. I would stay again.

Just back from a week's stay at the Altura Hotel 19-26 May and wanted to write this review. I award this hotel 5 *. * For the bar staff, always smiling 😊 * For the cleaners who cleaned our room everyday * For the animation team, Jack and Danny, two fabulous guys. * For the management and reception team who acknowledged us everyday * For the chef who spoke to us everyday. Your pork joint, spare ribs and gravy were exceptional! To all those who moaned about the food, you are in a foreign country, GREECE, don't expect the food to be the same as ENGLAND. A MASSIVE thank you to your Hotel and Team, you were fabulous. Just one little complaint, the beer was a little unpalatable. This is only a 3* hotel at affordable prices, if you want TUI platinum spend some more money. Jackie and Stan.

As several other reviews have stated this is a 3* hotel at a cheap as chips price, so don't whinge when you don't get Corden bleu cooking. You will not get better value for money than the Altura. Rooms are spacious with good quality furniture, cleaned every day except Sunday. The beds are firm, showers are adequate. There is a kettle and hairdryer in the room. Food is plentiful and you can always find something you can eat. If you don't like it there is no shortage of places to eat within a 10 minute walk. The pools are clean and well maintained with plenty of sunbeds available. Alcoholic drinks are ok but the soft drinks are terrible, reminiscent of rola cola. Tea and coffee are readily available and good quality.

Staff was horrible swearing at me and my family .When I walked in to the room with me and my family it smelled of pooand smoke and puke they didn’t move us .My son has special needs and they were rude to him food was all right but a bit bad the the man who was doing the pork was the kindest staff and the Bar man
