Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark

Everything is fine, average hotel. In reality, it does not correspond to the 4-star category. The number of restaurants is only for a check - without any significant differences, the quality of the food is average. The A la Carte restaurant is of poor quality - no difference from other ones, you are just served. But the rooms are neat, simple and modern (we stayed in a swim-up type room with access to a semi-private pool). The hotel is perfect for family recreation - separate pool areas for children (with various slides and other accessories), play area and room, evening discos for children, large trampoline area, arcade game area, etc. A lot of families are visiting, so it's really comfortable with children. Would like warmer pool water. The area is easy to get around, although it is hilly, sun beds are easy to get by the pools (it's a good idea to bring towels as hotel pool towels are available for a simbolic fee and deposit). The beach is further from the hotel, with a stony narrow shore, but suitable for swimming. Small town where the hotel is situated has nothing to see, but you can easily rent a car and reach every corner of the island - many beautiful nature objects. The staff is very different, there are some unhappy faces. When we met the receptionist, she was very reluctant to share information, it seemed that the work was boring and all the questions were annoying, so the answers were rude and laconic. Several similar workers have occurred in restaurants (e.g. a la Carte). The rest of the staff are really nice and helpful, especially the bartenders. The team of animators may not be top-notch in terms of performances, but they try very hard, maintain a good mood, seem fun and sincere. Maybe the hotel should invest more in animation team (as in more professional performers, not cheap looking games etc.). Overall it was not bad. The family friendly aspect was really the main reason of satisfacion. Other aspects could be perfected in the future. Has potential.

I was on vacation with my family and had a great time. Clean room, plenty of food and great entertainment. Zizuo, Ola, Maja, Rysiu, Krzysiu and Daniel, they were amazing and I miss them already. They always made you smile, you can talk to them and laugh more than once. I swam in the pool with my brother every day and we drank an unforgettable pineapple juice with ice which I recommend. We came across warm days, so also with my parents we sunbathed every day on deckchairs, which are also quite numerous. Big slides, swimming pools and animatora made days never boring. Also Evenings When the parties on the stage began. Great performance and some of the ones you can take part. An amazing holiday that I will never forget.

Entertainment was very good. Ola, Maja, Daniel i Zizuo was great. Food is varied and toasty. Water pool and aquapark was super. Our son swam everyday. Bar was great, and barman was smiling and nice. We had very good time on Zakynthos in Greece

Correcting the wrong reviews I was very nervous and worried after I'd read some review for me I'm trying to see where I could complain n probably the entertainment on a night could do with updating but regards rooms staff and food not a problem at all. Would stay here again could do with a shuttle bus into Tsilivi but would recommend

Sorry bit of a long one but, I just wanted to do a post about our time here for anyone due to come out who is worrying over the negative reviews. We were 2 adults and a 3 year old and we’ve had the best time! We didn’t want to come home!!!! We had a swim up room (block T room T102) and can’t recommend it enough! The smaller waterpark was closed for a few days due to a storm, which was out of the hotels control, but the swim up room was a life saver! It’s only accessible by the ground floor rooms which means it doesn’t get busy with people from other rooms using it. The room itself was spotless, it looked brand new and was very modern looking. There was a room with 2 single beds then a separate room with a double bed, which led out to your balcony then a section with 2 sun loungers and the swim up pool. Block T was directly opposite the waterpark and close to the herbs restaurant. Only negative was its up quite a steep hill, however, there are buggies at reception that can take you round the hotel, they will take you to your room with your luggage when you arrive and bring you back to reception on travel day. We didn’t have anything taken from our room and our cleaning lady was so lovely, we tipped her on leaving and she gave my little boy a big hug. The waterpark was absolutely brilliant! They have bigger slides for older kids with 2 smaller sections for younger kids. The one by the big slides has the buckets that empty out over you on the slides which my son was not a fan of, but the other side was perfect with a splash park and more smaller slides. Just be aware they do shut off the slides when it rains which I guess if for health and safety but they soon open once the rain passes. If there is a bad storm, this could close the waterpark as all the mud comes down the hill and they have to clean out the pools. The fun park of an evening was a massive hit with my son! €10 for the bouncy castles he had access to all night until 10pm, unsure what time they opened as we always went down after our evening meal so this was around 7/8pm. The lady who oversees the bouncy castles was fantastic, she was always walking up and down checking the kids and you could see her checking the parents were around when the kids wanted to leave the gated area. Younger kids she requested parents go into the area with them. There is a big arcade full of games and grabber machines, all around €1 and there are also trampolines but my son never used these. There is an onsite supermarket buy the fun park which was reasonably priced then 2 outside the hotel, one attached and one on the opposite corner. They had everything you could need including some branded toiletries. We bought a small bottle of amaretto for our room which was a bit pricey at €16 but you could also get large cans of mythos for €2 which my hubby was very happy about! we didn’t watch any of the evening entertainment but there was a kids mini disco every night at 8.15pm which my son did once but much

Very happy with service and great entertainment, very good head of entertainment zizou👍👍would come again, entertaining shows and great cycles of evening entertainment, dancers great, singers great and food and drunk amazing, great place 👍

Where to start…. Firstly on arrival after travelling in the blistering heat all day you have to check in yourself by downloading the hotel app. Takes about 15 minutes to do which is a bit of a farse! Lots of people in reception all confused about what they are doing, tired and just wanting to rest. Rooms are nice and modern, clean although we didn’t have bedding for the first 2 nights and had to request bedding twice. If your going book a swim up room as the pools are too small to accommodate all the guests and the most alarming thing is that there isn’t any life gaurd on any of the pools yet at the water park there are lots. I found this very dangerous considering the main pool is very deep at one end. Water park is good for the kids though and they have a good variety of pools for all ages. Just a shame there’s no life gaurd there. The biggest let down was the all inclusive drinks which are just awful! Tiny cups, cheap spirits which is to be expected but not cheap soda too. We ended up buying drinks from the supermarket every night. The all inclusive food is not very varied, iv had better in other countries for the same price, not enough variety although the snack bar was good, lovely pizza and gyros served there. Also the ice cream was lovely too, so yummy! If you’re going book Bella gusto for your evening time meals, it’s the best eatery there but gets booked up quickly. The entertainment staff try really hard and are nice and friendly, can’t really fault them to be honest. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel and is beautiful. There’s are restaurants there too which are also lovely for food or drinks overlooking the beach. The uphill climb back up to the hotel is a challenge so avoid the heat when doing so. Lastly I had previously read a lot of reviews about theft at the hotel by the cleaning staff and sadly I am returning without a bottle of expensive perfume which is very disappointing so to conclude I will not be returning although my children had a great time I think there is better value out there.

we came here as a younger couple for 5 nights. we were apprehensive about coming here on holiday after reading some terrible reviews but our experience was much more positive. having to download an app to check in was not as much of an inconvenience as others had made it out. the app itself was really useful as it had a map of the complex and information about restaurants, pools etc. the rooms are quite modern and newly furnished. one of the only issues we had with the room was that we were given no hand soap and were hesitant to use the towels as they didn’t look very clean. amenities in the room were fabulous - large tv, mini fridge and refreshing aircon. the safe is worth the 15€ a week as this gave us some peace of mind. cleaners came every day and changed the bins (towels and bedding 3 times a week). pools were great with so many sunbeds. the water park is fun and entertaining, we visited almost every day. although this is a resort aimed at families with young children, we had a blast and never felt out of place. staff were helpful and kind. we had no issues with any of the staff as they were always happy to help and were welcoming. one of the only downsides to this resort was the food and drink. the food at the restaurants were less than average for an all inclusive hotel. however, we didn’t go hungry as there were lots of different foods on offer. the bella gusto restaurant, on the other hand, was lovely and had fresh food every night. the snack bar as well was great as we could grab and go. the alcoholic drinks were not the best, cheap liquor and cheap soft drinks - not the best we’ve had from an all inclusive bar. there is a supermarket by reception which included everything we needed and at a decent price. there are also a few shops outside of the resort within walking distance. the best thing to do is come with an open mind and try not to rely on the negative reviews. naturally everyone has a different experience but the resort isn’t half as bad as people say.

The room was clean and big enough for the 4 of us the food was ok but like all buffet food is repetitive but a wide section to choose from over the 3 restaurants. Plus 1 A la carte. The drink selection was great something for all of us to enjoy and the bartenders was great fun to talk to and would remember or recommend drinks for me. Just outside the hotel there is boat trips to book at fair prices €120 for 4 of us to visit some of the most beautiful beaches like turtle island the blue caves it was a great day out. The entertainment was excellent great fun there was games in the day and afternoon for the whole family to enjoy and in the evening the shows were funny or amazing to watch the animation team are great bunch of people friendly and fun people to be around. One of my favourite places I've been highly recommend this hotel.
