Maria's Garden Apartments

The hotel was excellent. Staff were brilliant and the food was superb. Only thing we missed was a mirror and a dressing table in the room. Poor nan couldn’t do her hair and freshen up properly. But can’t be too picky. It’s the perfect place to vacay and relax.

Beautiful place with lovely food. Views from the pool bar are amazing. The staff really make this place special. Very clean. Feeding the few visiting cats is frowned upon, there is no need as food is available nearby. Being up on a hill side,thankfully the cats do an amazing job of keeping undesirables at bay. Please note, this is a rewrite of an original review that was left partially written in my account. To all tripadvisor users, if you originally linked your account with FB and that account gets hacked you must change login and passwords for all accounts! I didn't and subsequently had my tripadvisor account hacked this week. My partially written review was amended and some unsavoury comments added,my primary email was changed so I had no notification of the review being posted until I was confronted by the owner. When I opened my tripadvisor account and read the review I was shocked at the comments added ! I was able to delete the review and have secured my account. Do not leave partially written reviews in your account as these can be easily edited and submitted. I have never written a negative review as I prefer to deal with anything negative face to face Keep your account secure, check your account regularly and change your username and passwords if you find anything suspicious. Tripadvisor have now removed the Link Account to FB option so I imagine this has happened to lots of people .

The staff are absolutely amazing. They make the place special. Food excellent. Views are amazing. It's a shame the owner is not so nice, doesn't realise that the few visiting cats keep the vermin away. A very nasty man by all accounts.

We didn't stay here but went to the bar & restaurant whilst staying across the road at Nikos. From the beginning the staff were all warm , friendly , welcoming and fun. It's a beautiful setting with fantastic views and seating to maximise this. The food was very good and were the cocktails. Definitely recommended for a visit or stay, lovely place.

We stayed in the apartments opposite, but used the Olive Garden restaurant many times, it was nice and relaxing with kind ,friendly staff and good food.The portion sizes were huge and the prices reasonable. we would highly recommend .

What a great holiday we just had. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a 2 bedroom garden view apartment, great size for us. We had breakfasts in the apartment, and had everything there needed, crockery, cutlery etc. The aircon was fine, although it was in the kitchen area, we just left the bedroom doors open, and it kept us cool enough. The view from the balcony was awesome, even though advertised as a garden view, we could see the sea, and loved sitting out in the morning for breakfast and coffee. The hill was not a problem for us, we walked it once, and then got taxi's up in the evening for €7 due to the heat. The pool was great, no problems at all getting sunbeds, and there were some free, all times of the day. People played in there with balls etc, but soon moved if more space was needed for other people getting in. The food was great, we ate lunches there, and a couple of times in the evenings, favourites were the Greek salad, lamb kebabs, chicken nuggets (very good, and not what you expect) and pizzas. On our last day George recommended a veal steak, which was delicious (and massive!). The staff were all great, can't thank them all enough for their hard work. Special mention for Maria who was always smiling, chatty, and helpful. We had such a great time that we booked to go back next year, before we even left.
