Barceló Nura

A wonderful relaxing and peaceful holiday. This is our 2nd consecutive year at Barcelo Nura and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very quiet and just what we needed. Food is excellent, staff are very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds well maintained. It was even better than we remembered from last year, we will definately be going back again next year!

This is a total oasis for a tranquil holiday. Second visit and will have no hesitation on returning!

Oh my days what an amazing hotel. Summary, food breakfast lunch and dinner amazing. Staff phenomenal. Location and hotel perfect in every way! We arrived to a glass of wine and very smiley and happy reception staff who were very keen to tell us about the hotel and what would happen where and at what time. It's a very relaxing place, it's perfect for couples and although there were no children there were a few 1 year old and younger who were very well looked after and actually a pleasure to mix with. I suppose a 5 star hotel attracts 5 star parents. It has an amazing roof top bar for the evening and low key entertainment in the evening. At breakfast every couple of days there was a violinist. Every meal and service was truly amazing with a chef that cooked your omelette or your steak at lunch. I recommend the all inclusive as they are labelled spirits and free poured. Everything looks brand new and guests seemed a mixture of French Spanish and English. Thankyou to Carlos the barman who is now known as Carletto who like most of the staff has a great sense of humour and kept smiling everyday. Miriam and Karen to name a few were amazingly attentive. We cannot pick fault at all, our last holiday was a cruise with the royal carribean and this didn't disappoint. I recommend hiring a car who the hotel organise, go to des grau and hire a boat for the day on your own and visit the coves. The pools were fresh and clean and always enough sun beds even if you go in the afternoon. There's a little gym there and a spa. Thankyou to everyone at the hotel you should all be very proud of the service you provide.

This is not a five star hotel and certainly not 5 star food the plates were not heated so you Luke warm food got cold quickly. A lesson on cleanliness especially in bathroom showers and this hotel requires more staff.

This hotel is close to a 5 star but is missing a few things that I have come to expect having stayed in a lot of hotels marketed as 5 star. Firstly the hotel itself is very nice, the furnishings, cleanliness and staff are very good. It’s not got much atmosphere and does seem to have a lot of retired couples but that could just be as I went in June out of school holidays. The gym is excellent for the size of the hotel and the pools are clean but quite small as there are 4 of them rather than a big pool. The rooms are a nice size however it didn’t have any tissues and a shoe horn which I would expect. The toilet paper is the worst I have come across, it’s so thin you could probably see through it. Breakfast is pretty good but lunch and dinner are more limited. I would say if you have any intolerances or allergies you may struggle as a lot of stuff isn’t clearly signed and I didn’t see much alternative foods for coeliac or gluten free (I’m not so didn’t bother me). The drinks are very good and the cocktails are good quality and presented well. Entertainment is a bit lacking and there aren’t many outside areas that have cover so if it rains either day or night all the furniture is wet for quite a while. The room patios have no closed roof so if you dry things overnight and it rains they are soaking in the morning, whereas they should have part of it fully covered. Overall I had a very nice stay, there are just a few things that could and should be in place to make this a 5 star in my eyes.

Overall the hotel was great, very clean and everyone was friendly and if you want to hear a pin drop, this the place to get some piece and quiet. We had a 4 year old with us. She loves swimming in the pools and is there all day so we go a swim up room which was great. Please note there is nothing here for children, not even a kid menu. It really should be an adults only hotel. So we struggled a little here. The food in the morning was great but lacked choice in the evening The rooms were nice and clean but the sofa bed is a no go. When you get on it they tilt so its very uncomfortable. Would be good for busy couples looking to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet. The average age of people staying in the hotel is quite high though. There is no music round the pool and it only comes on around 7:30pm.

This hotel is absolute gem. The pool access rooms are 100% worth the extra charge. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. The location is quite remote so all inclusive is the best option and excellent value for money I hope to go back!

I feel I needed to write and tell me about our experience last week at your hotel. The hotel was very well planned and designed the 1st few days it was not very busy breakfast and lunch was fine but 1st two nights of our all inclusive stay the dinner buffet was very sparse hardly anything on offer. The last 2 nights it was better as there were more guests in the hotel. Why ? As this is supposed to be a 5 * hotel they offered a pool service for drinks via an app. This hardly ever worked and on the last 2 days never worked. The last day we went for lunch and after waiting an hour we had still not had any food ! In the evenings the room top bar was open but again 1 waitress and 1 bar man serving I counted over 50 people with table service ! As you can image it was horrific! Staff were very nice but just not enough of them ? Ive been with Tui loads of times but this was the worst described hotel and the worst service. I did after the lunch time hour wait go and speak to Manager and in a very nice way try and say the service was just not up to scratch for the price we paid he said he would investigate and get back to me ! Still waiting ! The final morning summed it up we were checking out at 7.10 am when we arrived at reception at 6.50 I wondered if I could grab a coffee it took the staff 10 min and coffee did not arrive before our bus. Lovely facilities and accommodation let down by service and lack of staff disappointing as was expecting a 5* experience for our 20th Wedding Anniversary ! 😡 Very disappointed I’ve not hear from you after my conversation with your manager. My family and I returned to this hotel after visiting last July . I emailed the hotel prior to arrival with a couple of requests which were granted Checked in swiftly and handed a glass of cava which was welcoming We were all inclusive which I felt was the best option as the quality of food excellent ! Certain meals / drinks were not on the all inclusive deal however I must stress not many Added bonus this year were the introduction of comfy sunbeds We were in a deluxe room but I think all rooms are spacious As part of the all inclusive package you have a well stocked fridge of juice / water / olives / beer / chocolate to name a few items Staff excellent!! Was nice to meet the hotel director on our departure . Must mention Carlos x2 ( rooftop bar ) Marc ( chef ) .. hope graduation went well ,Mercie , Ivan , Barbara and Donna . Roof top bar B heaven was a nice place to relax before a meal and to sit after the meal Will definitely return !
