Seth Isla Paraiso

Good sized apartment but in need of refurbishing. Kitchen contents were limited . Friendly reception. Breakfast ok but hot food was on the cool side.

Stayed here for a week on 11th of June, arrived early and got straight into our room, very nice double bed room for my family (3 young kids, 6,4, 16months) so room was a good size plus balcony which was very safe, air conditioning was great as it was needed during the evening as it was still hot at night. Breakfast was great plenty of choice, chefs always out replenishing items that had been running low, kids enjoyed the breakfast also. Pool area very clean and great size for the kids, nice play area also but tiles very hot during the day so would recommended sandals or crocs whilst in that area. Pool bar was good for food handy for the kids. Richard on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, always on hand to help out and a very pleasant man. Great restaurants to choose from each evening all done much the same but was nice all the same, nice stroll towards the beach to the restaurants, we brought a pram for the youngest and another for our 4 year old but didn’t take it out every night only when we headed towards the restaurants that where higher up, but a nice walk anyhow. The beach was amazing, beautiful clear waters and sand, can grab sunbeds for a small fee or just put your towel down and head to the sea, the water was so clear and the kids enjoyed being in the water. Great scenery/views as well along the beach. Handy supermarket that has everything you need literally across the road from reception, can buy floats, arm bands etc fresh fruit, bread, everything so handy. Would defo recommend the hotel, the area is a bit hilly but wasn’t an issue for our family.

Mine and my families 2nd time at Isla Paraiso and it didn’t disappoint! (Myself, my husband and daughters aged 21 and 14) Room 407 (2 bedroom ground floor by the main pool) was perfect, clean and spacious with air con in the living area. The staff were brilliant, all friendly and happy to help, everywhere was clean and tidy, the pool area was lovely- no sunbed wars here! Plenty of them available all through the day! The pool snack bar was lovely too with some fab cocktails! It only cost €40 euros in a taxi from the airport and took about 35 minutes. The location is beautiful and the beach is amazing. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants near the hotel too and a great little supermarket right by the hotel reception selling anything from food, drinks to sunglasses and lilos etc! The only negative I can think of is maybe the sunbeds by the pool could be updated- quite a few were broken. We would definitely return for a 3rd time!
