Inotropes Boutique Suites - Adults Only

Sweet boutique hotel down a side street in Archanes. Open the gate and you pass into a little Eden. Parking is a few feet away and the town square and tavernas are an easy stroll. Right around the corner is a mini market and a bakery. The room was cozy and we even lit a fire one night. They arranged for a fabulous birthday cake to surprise me on my birthday. The breakfast was delicious and filling and delivered to a table outside our door. The owner and staff were lovely. High recommendation.

Absolutely amazing We have chosen Inotropes as a place to stay the night before our wedding and we couldn’t have done a better choice. Since our arrival that we were treated with such a great hospitality that made us feel at easy and supper welcomed . Some of our friends and family have also stayed at Inotropes with us and they also commented on how beautiful the property is. Location is great, next to tavernas and shops and they even have parking for your car should you need. The village ( Archanes ) is very pituresque and the landscape are breathtaking. I can not recommend this property enough. I will surely be returning

This hotel is really beautifully renovated. We stayed in Stafylos one bedroom suite - it was really great. It was very spacious with separate lounge type room and bedroom. We liked the design with the shower open to the room. One does have to keep the blinds closed though for privacy as others can see in particularly when light was on, but this is not really a problem during the day. The common area is nice to sit but some of it closed when host is not there. The welcome fruits and drink was a nice touch. There is parking available. The place is really nice to stay for a few days with a nice town with nice places to eat, wineries around. We really wanted to do the wine tasting at the hotel based on the great reviews but we were advised it only occurs once a week on Thursdays which was a bit disappointing. The host was helpful enough but didn't seem particularly knowledgeable of the area/wineries etc - may be more useful to have someone who is local. The rooms are really beautifully done and relaxing, wifi works well, air con works well, shower was good. It's also very close and easy to drive to Knossos and Heraklion airport is close by for deprating flights. The place was very clean and had pincodes to access room and hotel.

We were absolutely blown away by this stunning, exquisitely restored, adults only boutique hotel. We stayed in the beautiful Stafylos suite, which had a separate kitchen (with a coffee machine, fridge and a hot plate) and a living room space with a gorgeous open fire-place. We loved the luxurious sunken shower, the stylish yet authentic decor, the gentle lighting, the comfortable bed, the crisp cotton sheets and the plump towels & bathrobes. We received a welcome gift of wine, fruit and water and the next day I was surprised with a delicious birthday cake. Effi, the owner, went out of her way to make sure that I had the most perfect birthday! Outside our room was a gorgeous courtyard with an olive and an orange tree, a stylish hot tub and another living/dining room area with a fire place and glass sliding doors looking out onto the beautiful courtyard. This definitely ranks as one of the most beautiful and stylish hotels that we have ever stayed at. Yet the price was exceptionally low for such an exquisite place. Do not hesitate to stay there. It really is a gem!

We loved this small quaint hotel but I found communication with the owner almost non existent unless she was communicating with us. When I made the reservation I had inquired about a taxi for an early morning departure to the port and I never received a response. I figured I would wait until we arrived. When we arrived the owner was not there we were just given a code to get into the hotel and then to our room. The only time I received communication was to inform us of a party that was to happen the night before our departure and what time did we think we would arrive and then what time were we going to have breakfast. It felt like a very self service hotel. I was appreciative that the owner did allow us to change from 3 nights to 2 nights so that we could preposition ourselves closer to the port for an early morning departure. A couple of recommendations would be to show on the website where the parking is for the hotel (near the mini mart by the way) and to ask what the client would like for breakfast, ie we do not drink orange juice. Other than that, this is a charming, cute hotel and once I finally met the owner on the day of our departure I felt like I had a better feel for the history of this stay. It is the owners grandmothers home that she recently renovated. A cute town with options to eat on foot and many wineries close by even an olive oil place to visit (book ahead).

This hotel was beautifully appointed and the owner and staff were very warm and welcoming. We stayed there with our two adult children; the atmosphere and and the vibe were very cool and chic. The breakfast was wonderful. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.
