Dolomites Base Camp Hotel Olympia

Just the job for skiing with great apartments as well as hotel rooms. Bit of an uphill hike back home after a day on the slopes but they offer a shuttle. Over 1000kms on the lift pass and open for biking and walking in summer. The Dolomites are Disney-style mountains especially at dawn and sunset when they turn pink

I came several times to Hotel Olympia and I always love how I feel there. It is so cozy and relaxed, but also nice and confortable. Everythins is made of wood and decorated in the typical style of the area, including the rooms. If you're lucky you can have an amazing view of the mountains even from bed! The food is excellent and the wine list is very interesting. You can find bottles for every pocket and every taste (the owner is a sommelier so they know what to pick). I love the Spa and the outdoor whirpool with the view of the mountains. If you go there at the right time you can be alone there (like me, many times). And, I love the ski depo, with boot heaters, just by the slopes. Very handy! All together it makes a perfect vacation for ski lovers (it is part of Dolomiti Superski - 1220km of connected slopes) and families with kids (in the hotel there is a playroom with many games including table tennis).

Great value for money , excellent food good sized rooms , friendly service . They have boot n ski room at the slopes with free transport so very convenient Access to outdoors jacuzzi and sauna in neighbouring appts.Very clean Would strongly recommend

Wir sind als Skigruppe angereist und sind doch alle recht zufrieden . Was ganz toll ist ,dass wir einen Skikeller direkt am Lift benutzen können, wo jedes Zimmer einen Schrank hat für Skier und Schuhe , die dort auch noch wunderbar gewählt und getrocknet werden. Da entfällt schon mal die Schlepperei. Unser Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten mit einer kleinen Sitzecke und Balkon. Im Bad war leider nur eine Badewanne ohne Vorhang zum Duschen. Die Heizung wurde zentral geregelt und war viel zu warm . Auch haben wir uns gewundert, dass man diese nachts nicht runterfahren konnte. Was für eine Energieverschwendung. Das Bett war mir persönlich zu hart. Das Hotel ist wirklich ruhig gelegen, die Straße ist nicht störend . Was das Essen angeht gibt es da sicher unterschiedliche Geschmäcker. Sie geben sich schon sehrviel Mühe, aber teilweise sind die Gerichte kalt am Tisch und vermissen etwas Würze . Beim Frühstück haben wir auch eine Käseauswahl vermisst . Ein Scheibenkäse war ziemlich einseitig. Das Obst wurde auch nicht geschnitten angeboten , was am Tisch dann eher zu Sauerei führt . Es gibt eine Sauna und Dampfbad im Keller und einen weiteren Wellnesbereich im Nachbargebäude, zu dem aber der Zugang über den Hof und mindestens 100 Treppenstufen führt und stellenweise ist es noch Baustelle, hat aber Potential

Hotel a tre stelle che ne vale sicuramente quattro, per ciò che offre, per come lo offre e per come viene gestito. All'interno ancora tracce di un edificio stile anni 80 ma gran parte della struttura è stata ristrutturata e dotata di ogni confort che gli standard qualitativi di un buon tre stelle richiedono. Poco distante dal centro del paese dove si trovano le attività principali, offre anche un servizio continuativo di navetta gratuito e per gli amanti dello sci una skiroom proprio all'ingresso degli impianti, anch'essa gratuita. Personale in sala ed in struttura molto disponibile, cordiale ed educato, qualche piccola mancanza o incomprensione è davvero subito recuperata dall'enorme disponibilità degli addetti ai lavori. Noi abbiamo soggiornato negli appartamenti dello chalet design zirm, molto belli e spaziosi. Lo chalet offre sauna bagno turco ed area wellness. Buona la ristorazione presso l'Olympia i camerieri sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Sicuramente in questo hotel c'è il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo di rosa Arabba.
