First impression of this hotel arriving at night was WOW. The pool, the lights the ambiance welcomes you in and it just got better. All the staff were so friendly and genuinely wanted you to enjoy your time with them at their hotel. They were always ready with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, the cocktail bar a delight and the long lunches a relaxed and fun experience. Thank you to all the staff you made a great holiday special we will definitely be back !

The overall experience was excellent from the travel right through to the swimming pools and food. It’s not your typical Tui holiday experience but that didn’t detract from the quality of the hotel, food and drink. On the AI package you get a lot of choices with restaurants, food and especially the wine list! The drinks are local but high quality, the pools are good but a little cold. The beach and restaurant at the beach is fantastic. We booked a swim up room and it was large and well worth the extra cost as you can debunk back to your room and have a swim if the pool scene is busy. We found the majority of people there were a blend of German, Dutch, Italian and English which was a good mix and were very friendly. The staff here were brilliant though and nothing was too much trouble, despite there long days and heat, they worked tirelessly with a ready smile and welcoming greeting. These little things make a difference and add to the overall enjoyment of your annual holiday.

This hotel was excellent. I’m Pescatarian but don’t eat seafood which can be an issue in all inclusive hotels but the selection at the Anemos was brilliant. They only downside was it didn’t follow through to the al a Carte so we could only visit 2/5 in the evening. The service was excellent the food was excellent the resort was clean and never crowded. We had no issues getting sunbeds maybe because quite a few of the rooms had their own pool. The sunbeds were the comfiest I’ve ever laid on and included a pillow. You were given a token for a beach / pool towel and you could change the towel Whenever you wanted. The beach was great, very clean and very safe for young children and the beach bar for lunch made it feel like you’ve gone out for lunch rather than eating in the hotel. The hotel was very easy to find by Car from the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at this resort in Crete with my family, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations Food & Dining: Dinner at the main restaurant was decent, not bad, but certainly not exceptional either. However, breakfast was disappointing, as it was the same every day, with limited variety and mediocre quality. The restaurants and pool bars were overpriced, offered low-quality food, and had small portions. Service during breakfast and dinner was very poor: slow, inattentive, and often overwhelmed. The dining area was not clean, with food frequently on the floor, stained tables, and dirty baby chairs, which I had to personally clean and sanitize several times. The chairs inside the main restaurant were uncomfortable, which made dining less enjoyable. The ONLY thing we truly enjoyed was lunch and dinner at the Sirocco A La Carte Restaurant. Both the service and food were exceptional, and I give them a well-deserved 5/5 rating. It stood out clearly from the rest of the hotel’s dining options and was the one experience that met expectations. Housekeeping & Room Service: Upon arrival, we were told we’d receive two free bottles of water in our room each day, but we rarely did. We had to repeatedly contact reception or housekeeping to get them. Additionally, there was no coffee refill, and the coffee mugs were never cleaned properly. Room Allocation: We booked three rooms and sent an email to the hotel a month in advance requesting rooms close to each other, as we were traveling with young children and their grandparents. Despite this, we were placed in separate blocks, and one of my sons had to sleep in a room far from us, which was very upsetting and completely avoidable. Pools & Facilities: The kids’ pool was dirty for several days, and overall pool maintenance was poor. The slides pool had a broken lamp with an exposed electrical cable floating in the water, posing a serious safety hazard. Additionally, there were broken tiles around the main pool near reception. Service at the kids’ pool bar was extremely slow — sometimes we waited 15 minutes just to find someone to take an order. This same lack of staff and service was noticeable in the main dining areas as well. Overall Impression: While the resort appears attractive in photos, the lack of basic cleanliness, poor customer service, and unaddressed safety issues significantly affected our experience. Despite a few decent elements, such as the dinner quality, the overall stay was disappointing and frustrating. I don’t usually write reviews, this is only my first or second time doing so, but I felt compelled to share my experience after our recent family stay at this resort in Crete. We visit Crete almost every year and usually have wonderful experiences, but unfortunately, this time was quite disappointing. Pool and beach towels: The only place to get or exchange towels is at the hotel spa, located near the reception at the front of the hotel, and it is only available

Lots of highlights that made for a brilliant week in Anemos! Firstly, we arrived after midnight and found that they had kept some of the restaurant buffet open for us knowing we'd arrive late and might need something to eat along with a welcome drink for everyone before taking us in a golf buggy with our luggage to our room which I thought was excellent service. Other highlights include the food - we were Half Board and both buffet and the 2 al a carte restaurants, for breakfast and supper was excellent. So many tasty options catering for all. My only gripe would be that not all food at buffet was allergy labelled (my 8 year old has a nut allergy) but it was in all the al a carte menus and the head chef was very helpful at the buffet when I wanted to check. The whole hotel is clean and has beautiful flowers everywhere. The rooms are large and very clean with great air con (so good in the 38 degree heat!), and you get free bottles of water for everyone every day in your room. Two particular highlights were the Cocktail bar on the roof. These were the best cocktails I've had in years! The barman was so lovely and a very skilled mixologist. Secondly there was always sunbeds and cabanas, even at midday. No1 reserving them in the mornings. We spent most of our pool time at the top of hotel where my 12 and 8 year old enjoyed the slides. The beach is a short walk in an underpass, but a golf buggy will take you if needed. It's the most beautiful, shallow, clear water that's lifeguarded, which lots of sunbeds and lots of waiters taking orders for food and drink to your bed. Overall a fab place where I definitely felt like id experienced 5 star.
