Wasn’t expecting this from a package-ski hotel! We stayed in a recently refurbished top floor room, which was large, well appointed, comfortable, clean and easily accommodated our family of three. Newly installed basement wellness centre was wonderful! Buffet breakfast and evening meals were very good, with free flowing wine (prepaid). Good selection of cakes and nibbles with tea/coffee at 4.30pm each day. The owner Max is brilliant, supported by an excellent staff! To top it all, the hotel is next to the main ski lift and at the bottom of a ski rink (a forgiving black run).

Stayed here this week with seven friends. Made many more whilst here enjoying a great ski area that was right on the doorstep! The slopes were so deserted most of the time and getting onto a ski lift was quick and easy! The hotel is family run, clean, warm and serves great food. The surrounding area doesn’t have much nightlife but that was a bonus

Just come back from an incredible week here. If you vegan your in for a treat (as long as you tell them before you go). The food was amazing! Vegan cakes, vegan soups, vegan cheese dishes, asparagus in vegan cheese, vegan meatballs, vegan mushroom pasta dishes, you name it they did it! Julia, Max, Evie were all lovely too with Julia checking everyday with my what I can eat. the spa was fantastic and very relaxing with a hot tub, sauna, steam room, infra red chairs, waterfall showers. Amazing ski in ski out, right on the slopes. Was a super market right next door too for any snacks. Such a treat of a week and amazing value for money. Want to return already!

Just returned from spending a week at this amazing place. This was a first time to Italy. I was absolutely stunned at the value for money and friendliness. The Hotel is sensational. You couldn’t get any closer to the lifts. I am a vegetarian and my daughter is vegan, with a nut allergy. The hotel catered every day to our requirements. Every afternoon there was soup, and separate cakes that my daughter could eat. Evening meals were specially made and prepared with so much imagination. We have stayed in five star hotels all over the world and the food we experienced at this hotel could not be beaten. The atmosphere in the hotel is so relaxing and we made full use of the wellness Centre. This was lovely after a full day skiing to be able to sit in the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The resort itself has got a lot of varied runs which we did all of them. And on our last day we did a half day walking through the beautiful woodland Trail and back along the Riverside. Food and drink on the mountains is so well priced and you don’t get ripped off like in other ski resorts. We would have no hesitation in recommending this resort and definitely stay at this hotel. Max and his team are amazing. Thank you so much for making our stay special.

What an amazing holiday. This hotel stands apart from others mainly because of the quality and friendliness of the staff. The owner Max is most hospitable and the welcoming we had was very warm and friendly. The rooms are a little dated but are large and clean. The food is served buffet style and was incredibly tasty and portions generous. The free wine and water was most welcome at dinner as was the tea in the lounge at all times. You can’t go wrong choosing this hotel or Champoluc as a place to visit. Highly recommend and thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Hotel Champoluc skiing as part of a package with Inghams. We stayed in a newly refurbished room with mezzanine level on which our kids slept. Food was excellent - big breakfast, a tea on our return from the slopes and large, tasty buffet dinner with plenty of choice. Max and his team provided a very warm welcome. The sitting room area was very sociable and there was a spa area including sauna/ spa. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this hotel. We stayed in one of the third floor refurbished rooms and it’s one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in at a ski hotel. The shower was amazing! We had a mezzanine room so our children slept upstairs in twin beds. The hotel is so warm and welcoming - the staff cannot do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of hot and cold options. The afternoon tea was vast with soups, cakes and canapés. There were generally two options for dinner which were sometimes not to my daughter’s liking but the hotel staff would always provide her with a bowl of plain pasta instead. The bar area is very social and we had a wonderful time getting to know other guests. The gondola is literally 20 steps from the hotel door and you can ski back in on a black run or get the gondola back down. If you wanted to look for flaws then the boot room is not perfect with only 2 heated boot spikes for a 4 person room but honestly - everything else is so perfect that it’s a minor detail.

Hotel Champoluc is a good three star hotel. The food is delicious and a good variety of breakfast. We were in a triple room which was comfortable. Couldn’t get closer to the gondola so a really good location. The staff are very friendly and attentive too. Good ski area lots of reds but not many blues. The mountain restaurants that we went in were all reasonable priced and friendly. Not the best place for much else going on. Champoluc itself is very small and quiet.

I recently booked this hotel and can definitely recommend a stay. The owner, family and staff give you a warm welcome. Food was varied and tasty. There was certainly plenty of choice, for the children too. Drinks at the bar are tasty and prepared with care. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Location of the hotel, close to the ski slope is also definitely convenient. Parking under the hotel convenient.

We have just returned from a weeks ski trip to the Aosta valley. The hotel could not be closer to the lift. It is essentially ski in ski out. All the reviews mentioning Max and his team are accurate. Max appears to need little sleep as he is around all the time. Michelle (the Chef) was so flexible with our vegan daughter. She created a new meal each sitting, and ensured tea had vegan soups and cakes. All of the waiting staff were excellent, but Juila really stood out - a great sense of humour. The rooms are plenty big enough for 3 adults. The bar area is great with a wide choice of drinks. All in all, an excellent value hotel with outstanding service.

We stayed here for our ski trip. It was our first time trying an Italian resort and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is located right next to the piste! It’s small, clean and what’s important is the fact that Max ( the owner) and his staff are so very nice. The food served is fresh and delicious. They have been absolutely wonderful. We will definitely book again and come back next year. Thank you Max and team.

Just back from a week's ski-ing in Champoluc, staying at the hotel.. Everything was wonderful, the super friendly staff are always going out their way to help. Food was fantastic with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. We had a front facing room, looking onto the slopes which was perfect. Thanks again, and here's hoping we can get back there next year!

We are on our last day of holiday at this amazing hotel! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Max the owner and his team have been so welcoming and helpful. Thanos the bar man has been exceptional remembers all our names and great sense of humour! The restaurant staff and cleaners all amazing. It is right on the slopes, you couldn’t get a better location. Food fantastic! Really have no negatives to mention! We will 100% be back.

Extraordinarily good value for money. The hotel is directly at the bottom of the home run, lift to the nursery slopes and a small apres ski bar. We stayed in a half board basis where the food was delicious. I was particularly pleased with the children’s food. Unlike other hotels the children had delicious home cooked food rather than processed nonsense. There were no complaints! The bedrooms are all newly furnished with new bathrooms and if a reasonable size. A particular thank you to all the hotel staff and the esprit staff for making the entire families holiday fantastic.
