Thalazur Antibes - Hôtel & Spa

Staff is welcoming. There are indoor and outdoor pools. Be careful when using the indoor pool and better not swimming there because you can be pushed away by the jacuzzi water flow and the pool wall is quite rough. Breakfast is with various choices and you can enjoy pool or sea view when eating breakfast.

The hotel is nice with 3 good outdoor pools. Great for kids. Restaurant is good. Transats in the pool are in very good quality and very clean. SPA Massage was very good. Need to book very early in advance, they are very full. no wonder as their service is great. Rooms suite are very decent size and the bed is very big. Parking is very convenient. When we checked in, our shower had a water evacuation blocked. we took a shower and the water was not going out. so we finished it in the bath tub. One wall lamp in the room and another in the living room were broken. it keep twinkling when it was on. we have informed the reception, and the shower was repaired but not the lights. we gave up on asking.

Un séjour de rêve à Istanbul C était absolument parfait ! Accueil chambre, service, restauration, spa localisation ….pour visiter Istanbul (je conseille le taxi bleue Il est au top ) des suites absolument magnifique! Literie de rêve Restauration excellente Et, surtout, personnel d'une attention et d'une gentillesse rares.... Nous avons fait un séjour inoubliable et nous avons hâte de revenir !! La plus décevante expérience hôtelière. Tout d'abord, l'enregistrement a pris près d'une demi-heure, une expérience de réception aussi peu professionnelle est une première pour moi. De plus, nous avions réservé pour deux nuits, mais aucun service d'eau n'a été fourni chaque jour. Lorsque nous avons demandé à la réception le soir, on nous a dit que l'eau était épuisée et nous avons été dirigés vers le restaurant pour en acheter. C'est vraiment exagéré, ne pas fournir même de l'eau. En résumé, le personnel de la réception ici me donne une impression très arrogante. Je ne sais pas comment lui attribuer quatre étoiles, même n'importe quel Airbnb offre un meilleur service. Cependant, le personnel du spa est assez sympathique, c'est juste que la réception est vraiment agaçante. De plus, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est vraiment éloigné, une voiture est nécessaire pour y accéder, et les transports en commun sont très peu pratiques. En résumé, je ne recommande vraiment pas cet hôtel, et je n'y retournerai jamais.

To start with the positives, the hotel pool and sea view room are wonderful. And that is about it. This is a spa hotel with many guests driving in from across France, coming for one or two days for spa treatments and therefore do not particularly want to be a tourist in Antibes. If however, you want to book a hotel to be a tourist in Antibes, don't book this one. It is a 40 minute walk for fit people into Antibes town and the route is not direct, meaning a very long trek through mainly residential streets. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus, but what they don't tell you, until you are there is that this is only 3 times in a day. It leaves at 9.30, 12.30 and 18.00hrs for the town centre or train station, with a corresponding return journey back to the hotel. In addition, the shuttle bus seats only 8 people, so you have to book days in advance to get a place on it. If you are the ninth person wanting a free shuttle into Antibes, you are out of luck. The restaurant does serve good food at lunch and dinner, however, in the week we were there the limited menu did not change once. Also be sure to book a table, otherwise yet again you'll be out of luck. In addition, as the guests of this Hotel are in affect, a captive audience, the drinks and food are expensive compared to Antibes town itself. We did go into Antibes for evening meals and drinks, however, we didn't bargain for taking 7 uber trips back during our week. The breakfast is dreadful. Unless of course you enjoy cakes for breakfast. Fruit provided was hit and miss and if you didn't get down first thing, you could forget about getting any. We didn't use the spa at all, so I can't comment on it, or the services there, but that is not what we wanted from this break. We like to visit the gym on holiday, but this gym was extremely limited in its equipment and be aware there are no free weights at all. Antibes is small and I would suggest 3 days would be ample and to choose a hotel closer to the town itself.

Jet2 holiday Modern reception, indoor seating for relaxing, small bar area serving dining area and poolside. Outdoor dining available pending weather (we experienced torrential rain and thunderstorms storms). Our room was allocated in block 2, the room was partially updated so a little mixed review, bed comfy, shower over bath but separate toilet with no sink for hand washing! Partial sea view which was very pleasant. We decided on staying bed and breakfast - breakfast was plentiful and tasteful, we opted for evening meal a few times, set menu was good value and x3 choices or individual choices available- nicely presented, beer was draft or bottled, Pinot served was nice and nespresso coffee Now.. Location.. everyone has different thoughts, here is mine, if you like to stay at hotel and enjoy views, pool, spa and restaurant, If you enjoy walking into Antibes( approx 45mins), using shuttle bus x3 daily last return 6pm or have a car then no problem. But if you like to go for a walk locally then there really is nothing- even the pedestrian tunnel under the train track is pad locked. We used the train station at Antibes to explore the area- be mindful taxi are expensive. Personally I wouldn’t return but it’s not awful.
