There are three bedrooms. The bedroom downstairs has an extendable bed. The house has a separate toilet. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a full bed. There is a possibility of an extra sleeping place. One of the bedrooms upstairs has three single beds. Another bedroom has a full bed, Tv and a closet. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a ceramic hob stove, an oven, and a sauna. The garden is fenced. You can use the barbeque in the garden. From the terrace, you can enter to the sauna room. There is (de) Sat. tv and (nl) cable tv. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar.
