On the ground floor, de Druif has a spacious living room with an open kitchen and direct access to the grape-covered terrace. On the same floor there’s a bathroom, a separate toilet and a bedroom with a twin bed. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one of them with a small balcony. Holiday home ‘de Druif’ has three bedrooms, 6 sleeps. (Outdoor area:) You can sit on the terrace in the shade of the grapevine and it’s allowed to grill in the garden but there’s no bbq-set available. Parking is possible in front of the house. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views. With its three bedrooms ‘horizon’ is equipped for up to 5 persons. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one with a small balcony. On the property, there is a private parking, which offers enough space for two cars. The holiday home accommodates 2 to 4 people with two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed (140 x 200 cm) and one with a bunk bed (190 x 90 cm). The living room features an open kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove with oven. There is also a spacious bathroom. The bathroom and living room can be heated, making it comfortable and cozy in the house even in winter. The house has a terrace, garden, and parking space. Chalet Gaby, with a living area of approximately 60 m², is furnished for four people and includes two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom features two single beds. There is a bathroom with a toilet and shower. (Outdoor area:) On the terrace you can enjoy the views from your garden chairs and from the fishing deck you can plunge into the water, use one of the two canoes that belong to the house to explore the national park or (obviously) go fishing. The holiday home has a living space of approximately 60 m², providing ample room for four people. There is one bedroom with two single beds and a second bedroom with a 1.40 x 2 m bed. The house includes a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a large flat-screen TV, a dishwasher, and a barbecue. Cable TV is also available. From the waterfront terrace, there is an open connection to Lake Lauwersmeer (with a 1-meter draft and a bridge clearance of cacm). Bring your own paddleboard, boat, or bike and enjoy the water and nature of Lauwersmeer National Park. There are also boat rentals available in the area.
