This property has a lot of potential but a lot still needs to work out.
1. Little things matter. There are overlooked areas especially inside the room on their furnitures and fixtures that needs repainting and buffing.
2. Housekeeping trolleys are not properly parked on guest hallways. If a housekeeping staff is cleaning a room, the trolley needs to be parked in front of the room blocking the door. In this way, guests also wont need to see the messy room on the inside. If they are inside a pantry, trolley should be near the wall, not in the middle of the hallway.
3. During check in, the lady wearing brown dress talks over the phone unacceptably loud. She’s speaking probably one of her superior but should be professional so guests wont hear unnecessary things they dont need to listen to. So unprofessional. She even attended a guest queued right behind us keeping both of us tight on a single front desk counter. I understand that need to expedite the process but there are a lot of convenience ways of doing this.
4. Aircon not cooling. To cut the long story short, we found ourselves on the floor hallway transferring our things from one room to another around 9:30 PM. Imagine the inconvenience. At first, the best thing they had to offer was an electric fan. I had to come down to the frontdesk for them to realize our frustration. Problem resolution skills at its lowest. No one even called to check on us nor apologize.
5. Linens. The duvet no on the 2nd room has a smoke burn. The bed itself also has blood stains. You can check the room to verify.
6. The other elevator is malfunctioning. The door keeps on opening even though no one is pressing it from the inside or outside of the lift.
7. They should consider using QR codes for the list of their services and menus. This will save paper print outs and will be innovative and convenient at the same time.
8. Breakfast and restaurant staff. The food selection is really worth the price. The restaurant staff were so warm and friendly.
9. Shuttle service. One of jts selling points must be this pickup and drop off service. However, its not marketed well. This is great for commuting market.
10. Maybe try to consider putting like a 4ftx4ft carpet in the area in-front of the tv. This will make the room more warm and comfy.
Overall, the property has a lot of potential. They just have to have a standard process on certain areas. Will definitely go back to try their pool and cafe. Hopefully next visit will be more about positives.
