Hotel 3 Könige & Post

We stayed here on our way back home from Italy. Andermatt is nice small town and we like it to stay here overnight. The 3 Konige und Post is a bit outdated and the romm rates are high, compared to what you really get. Therefore better look for a local B&B. We had a room with no view and the breakfast was OK but not what you expect for 200+ EUR.

For the price we paid, this hotel lacked basic amenities. There was a spa downstairs with a hot tub and sauna. The sauna was hot and great for sore muscles. Unfortunately the hot tub was very old and barely warm. Each room should have robes so you don’t have to walk upstairs with a towel on. There was also no conditioner in the bathroom. The bonus for this hotel is that it included a full breakfast each morning and the beds were comfortable. Another nice touch would be to include water in the room. The town shuttle barely came and was crowded when it did. We had to walk with skis down street to Natschen left and to Gemstock. It would be great if hotel had its own shuttle.

Wir sahen das Restaurant am Nachmittag beim vorbei gehen und es sprach uns von aussen her an. Aber die Enttäuschung prompt. Zuerst mal 30 min. gewartet auf das Essen. Andere Gäste die später als wir kamen, wurden vorher bedient. Mein Partner bestellte einen Aperetiv und wurde nicht mehr weiter nach Getränken gefragt. Das panierte Schweineschnitzel war fur...trocken und die Pommes Frites geschmacklich nicht frisch. Bramata Polenta zu trocken und das Siedfleisch in zu vieler Sauce ertränkt. Ausserdem kalt. Lieblos angerichtet. Der Salat auf meinem Teller mit braunen Flecken. Dann extremer Fliegenbefall während dem Essen. Die Polster auf den Stühlen fleckig und versifft. Unsichere Bedienung, die nicht mal die deutsche Sprache beherrscht. Allgemein viel zu teuer.
