Anakao Ocean Lodge

We had a boat trip from Tulear to Anakao that lasted 60-75minutes. When we reached, we were taken to our rooms. To note that wifi is available only in the reception/dining area. We did not have wifi in the room. There was no AC. Only a fan in the room. It’s amazing to relax and unwind. Enjoying each moment is great. The showers had sea water, better not get it in your eyes. It left us a little sticky. But overall great experience. As for halal food, we could only opt for fish.. i don’t think the chicken and meat is halal. Or any vegetarian dish.

Amazing place to enjoy several relaxing days on a gorgeous beach. The rooms are beautiful, bright, nicely decorated, with a wonderful shower and bathroom. The beach is exquisite. The people who work here and live here could not be any more pleasant to be around. The restaurant is a beautiful, open, indoor/outdoor place to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Fresh seafood is always on the menu. The food has been delicious, tasty, and scrumptious. This is a place to relax and spend time reading a book or two. The is good surf in warm clear water, but you need to take a bout out to the break. We highly recommend this beautiful place if you are looking to spend time in non tourist resort.

Posto magnifico. Cucina eccezionale. Cocktail ottimi. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e in una dimensione fantastica, praticamente nel nulla. Peccato per le maree che rendono il mare poco fruibile, almeno a settembre. Non un posto per chi ama i lettini a bordo piscina… anche perché non c’è la piscina! Bellissima escursione per vedere le balene.
