Alpine Inn Near Convention Center and the Park

We spent two nights at the Alpine Inn for our Disneyland trip, a 10-15 minute walk from the main gate. The location is convenient, and parking is free—though it may not extend to the day you check out. In our case, we were given a coupon for $12.50 parking at the Anaheim Garden Walk structure, which is still much cheaper than Disneyland parking. The motel charges a $15 "resort" fee, though calling it a resort is a stretch. There is a small pool, but otherwise, it’s a standard motel with a charming Alpine chalet façade, complete with a Matterhorn Bobsleds poster in the lobby. Our double queen room had a recently renovated feel, was on the small side, and included a single nightstand between the beds, a TV mounted on the opposite wall, and a fridge and microwave in the open closet area. There weren't many outlets, but they wisely added an alarm clock with outlets and USB ports built in. The bathroom sink was separate from the shower and toilet, with wall-mounted hand soap and lotion by the sink, and conditioning shampoo and body wash in the shower. The beds were very comfortable—we slept great after long days walking Disneyland. However, the ceilings are thin, and we could hear every step from the room above us, as well as their plumbing. Expect to wake up when they do. There’s coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. Fortunately, a Denny’s and two IHOPs are close by. The best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. While it’s not a luxury stay, the Alpine Inn is a solid choice for Disneyland visitors looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option close to the park.

My second stay at this property in 8 years, chosen for its price and proximity to Disneyland. Wow, have things been gentrified in this area of Anaheim in the last few years! Katella Ave. is unrecognizable now! But the Alpine Inn endures as a cute 1960s-style chalet (complete with fake snow and icicles) but with modern, updated rooms. I had a double queen room that was quiet and comfortable for me and my friend. Parking can be a bit tight if you have a midsize SUV (like I did). No breakfast on offer, but coffee/tea is available in the lobby. The pool is surrounded by the parking lot on three sides, but in January nobody was using it. Plenty of options for food, snacks and convenience store needs within walking distance. Save your money and walk to Disneyland; leave your car at the hotel and it's about a 15 min. walk to the front gate.

As Disneyland Magic Key Holders we like to visit monthly, have stayed at a few offsite properties as well as the 3 onsite hotels. Wanted a clean location to sleep and shower while spending remainder of our short stay at DL & CA Parks to enjoy birthday amid holiday atmosphere. 20 minute walk to DL/ CA. PROS: Alpine Inn has extremely nice helpful employees. Comfortable beds, bright white walls, uncluttered space, thankfully no carpeting, bright lighting, well stocked with towels, TP & facial tissues. Microwave on top of clean mini refrigerator, ample room to hang clothes, good water pressure with hot water on demand at sink & shower. CONS: No full length mirror, 2 fake plants in room only attract dust, need to press soap & shampoo dispensers on walls multiple times to get usable amount. First world problems, can't complain.

I searched high and low for an affordable room that could accommodate my family of four plus my parents that was in walking distance to Disneyland. I finally found the Alpine Inn which had a triple room. Our room had two queens in the main room plus another queen in a separate bedroom. We had a fantastic stay - the beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were plenty (and fresh and new!). Bedding was also super comfy and clean. Kids liked the pool and it was fun to be in the shadow of Radiator Spings Racers with the view of the INCREDICOASTER. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Took us 14 mins to walk to the parks. Would 100% stay here again.

Fantastic budget hotel! Refurbished very well. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was immaculate. Within walking distance to Disneyland. The only negative is the parking lot is very small and difficult to maneuver.would definitely return.

Super clean and comfortable room! Close to Disney and the most helpful and friendly staff ever! Chose it for the price thinking it would be "just adequate" but it ended up being way beyond our low expectations and one of our new favorite Disney area hotels. They even offered us return guest discounts for next time!
