In a word: phenomenal. Eline should run seminars on how to run a B&B. Room was well appointed and stocked with snacks and drinks. Eline was very communicative and even met us off the tram to guide us to the room (the street was under construction). Great location, easy access to the trams, restaurants, etc. Breakfast is available at the nearby Bagels & Beans. Eline left little personalized touches for us each day. An absolutely excellent experience from check in to check out.

We booked this room based on the perfect ratings we could find. It did not disappoint. In itself, the location was convenient to the sights, shopping, restaurants, canal trips, etc. What really made this excellent was Eline the host. She had all the comforts in the room but she came down and spent time with us helping us to get around and just sharing her love of the city. All around just an excellent stay.

These two American tourists cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Milkhouse. It is located in a beautifully renovated 17th century building right on a canal. It was so fun to open the door and step out into the heart of Amsterdam. It is within walking distance of the museums and wonderful shopping. Our hostess, Eline, made our visit special. She pointed us to local restaurants that were excellent and was helpful in so many ways. We felt like we were really part of Amsterdam. Every attention to detail was given to our impeccable suite. We will be back.

This room did not disappoint we had a big few weeks of travelling from Australia, to Cyrus and Cyprus to London. Amsterdam was our final part of our trip. Room - perfect size for two people. Had everything you could possibly need. Bed - The bed & pillows were super comfy. Noise - You could hear people walking by. It’s not a busy street. I slept very well. Fridge - Fully stocked daily with wine, beer, fizzy drinks and snacks (free of charge). We took full advantage of this. Location - Perfect location. Walking distance to the hustle & bustle. Far enough to have some rest. Cleanliness - Cleaned daily. Cleaned very well. I’m a very messy person. Came back to find my clothes folded and stuff organised. Safety deposit box - We did not use this. Great the room has one. Customer service - Awesome! Sent a WhatsApp message with information about our stay. How to get to the property from the airport via train/tram. Provided lots of information on arrival about Amsterdam and recommendations given. Loved the room had lots of books & maps etc about Amsterdam. I felt in very safe hands knowing the family were close by. If we return to Amsterdam we would definitely come back to the Milk House. I would love to experience this accommodation in winter. Thanks for a great stay guys !!

We loved staying at B&B Milkhouse. It was the perfect location to walk to everything, and Eline was very helpful with recommendations and making sure the room was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam, the room had everything we could have asked for and it was so lovely to be right on the canal in one of the nicest areas

Eline is the perfect host, she could not do enough to make our stay feel special, even offering to share her home with us when our flight home got cancelled. The room is amazing, the mini bar is replenished everyday free of charge, linen changed daily and the breakfast 1 minute walk away at Bagel n Beanz is fabulous.

A beautiful stay with all the amenities you would need. The property is located in the heart of the city where everything is a short walk away. The owner is very accommodating and the room is cleaned to a magnificent standard. Helpful host who is at hand. Most definitely a 5 star accommodation. Love this beautiful room.

I have just returned from a weekend away in Amsterdam with my husband and 2 sons (17 & 19) and staying at The Milkhouse was an absolute treat. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything and the rooms are incredibly clean, large and beautiful. The beds are to die for!!! Eline kept the mini bar fully stocked, which was a real surprise and much appreciated. And personal touches like leaving me champagne for my birthday was extra special. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again :-)

Wow! Just Wow! The room is as beautiful as it looks on the picture. That door exits to a canal that is walking distance (or nearby trolly station) to all the action in Amsterdam. I wanted something cozy and European for my wife's surprise birthday trip, not just some branded hotel. When we arrived we were quickly met by Eline who owns the house with her husband and lives up stairs. The room was decorated with great care and style. I particularly like that she re-stocked the mini-fridge every day with six waters (two on the night stands), a few beers, and some wine. I have stayed in places twice the cost that only offered two small water bottles on arrival and that's it. This was a nice touch. Eline explained the area to us on a map and even tought us how to pronunce Keizersgracht. On my wife's birthday she left a box of chocolates, a card and some decoration on the bed. We really felt like guests in her home. It might be because it was winter, but the prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be staying at B&B Milkhouse Luxury Stay again.
