We had a horrible experience at Amarylis, being there with my family, including here my 3 year old son and my dad with disabilities. First, the big surprise: they gave us a studio instead of the apartment which we paid for. They blamed Booking for miscommunication, but in reality I understand this is a common cheat practice for them (based on other reviews which I saw on Tripadvisor). No refund so far for this downgrade. This produced us a great discomfort, since we didn't have the space we needed, no sea view, no extra bathrooms, no living room, as per the description of what we booked. Second, breakfast is miserable. Same food every day and almost no interest to refresh/refill. Breakfast is served during 8-11, but if you come at 9.30, you have no plates and most of the food is missing. There is almost no cold water to drink (both cold and warm is actually warm). They reported me to Booking for requesting a refill, even if the lady in charge with this specifically said she doesn't understand English. Very poor customer service. The rooms: our studios were with a lot of noise from the street during the night, very hot, with old AC devices. No space to organize the clothes in the lockers. Towels weren't changed unless specified. Not even leaving them dirty on the floor was considered as a sign to be cleaned out. The beach nearby is not a proper beach, but an improvisation next to the sea. There are only a few sunbeds at the pool and on the grass at the restaurant next to Amarylis. Garbage and a bad smell in the halls (only one small dustbin in the bathroom). No attention to details. We were kicked out by Amarylis with 3 days in advance, due to "not following their policies", so we had to find another accomodation short notice (again, with a small kid and a disabled person in the group). Conclusion: don't go to Amarylis if you want a proper holiday 🙃 There are far better places around.
