Les Jardins de Taja

Our stay in Les Jardins De Taja was just perfect. Really friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely food, peaceful. It was nice to get away to this serene & calm location. and the hammam and massage was the best ever. Few things to note: 1)No wifi in your room (only in the public areas), which was fine as it is nice to switch off for a while 2) limited hot water in the rooms (small tank), which was also fine once you know. 3) Hiring a car would be better as not near anything. Taxi's can be organised but can end up expensive. Three minor notes - just so you dont get a shock when you get here. But definately not negatives. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for an amazing time.

We stayed at this beautiful place for a few days and it was fantastic. Located in the countryside, it is calm and relaxed. The design is truly marrocan. The pool is big and located with an amazing view. The dinner in the evening is tasteful and homemade. We did not have a car, but the owners arranged a taxi for us, that took us to the Ourika waterfalls, which was a nice day trip. We can highly recommend this place if you want some completely different from the busy Marrakech.

This is a lovely place to stay in and relax in the beautiful surroundings of rural Morocco. I would like to make a special mention and recognise the efforts of two of the staff members there. Ashraf and Omar were both lovely people and they work very hard to ensure that the guests are happy and I really appreciate their efforts in making all the food and looking after the place which was beautiful, a huge well done to these guys keep working hard your talents should definitely be recognised Shkran / Merci to both of you ! On the other hand I would also just like to make a couple of general observations or suggestions to the owners which I believe could even improve the overall experience to guests . In terms of the meals I would love to see a bit more variety. For example I think the breakfasts become a little monotonous ( not only here but in my general experience across the country) my suggestion would be a bit more options to chose from instead of the same every day would be amazing for example croissants or cereal kind of like a small buffet option . Sometimes you fancy different things so if you are presented with exactly the same every day it can be a bit boring . In terms of dinners perhaps a bit more communication about what is on the menu and maybe a choice of two typical Moroccan dishes would be nice . Please note this is just my personal opinion which I think would just improve the whole experience but like I mentioned the staff members there work very hard and do their best to make you happy . The installations are lovely and all decorated in a very cool and natural way . Swimming pool is awesome 👍

· Truly one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. We stayed 4 nights and have promised ourselves we will come back every year. Wonderful hosts - who catered to our every need, including an extra birthday cake and special trips to local shops. Food is exceptional, hammam experience was wonderful, the beds and rooms are spotless and so quiet and comfy. You really feel like you're coming to stay with family (just very luxurious family!) Really somewhere to relax and switch off from the world. Cannot recommend enough - à la prochaine!!! Thank you, thank you and thank you again to all involved.

We left Marrakech a day early to escape the motorbike fumes. We booked this property on a whim as it was near the Ourika Valley and we're so glad we did! We drove a rental car and just a word of warning: Do not trust your GPS! This location is quite remote off a dirt road and our map took us on a joy ride through a remote village where we were the only car. It was quite treacherous but also the type of vacation memory we will have forever! Once we arrived at Les Jardins De Taja it was like being on another planet of luxury! The grounds were unbelievable. The rooms spacious and rustic. The dining area and pool area absolutely divine - outdoor beds, sunset views, absolute luxury. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a wonderful place in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and with clear views across to its snow-capped peaks. The emphasis of Les Jardins de Taja is on peace. The restaurant serves good Moroccan food. There is a pool with much lounging space.

Deuxième séjour dans ce havre de paix dans l’Ourika. Un vrai petit paradis où on se sent comme à la maison. Les petits déjeuners au bord de la piscine, les dîners délicieux. Les maisons sont très belles et très bien décorées. Merci à Fatiha, David et Achraf pour leur accueil qui a rendu notre séjour exceptionnel.

Nous tenions absolument à poster cet avis sur notre séjour aux Jardins de Taja. Nous avons été accueilli par Fatiha et David les propriétaires de ce havre de paix qui est tout simplement magique, situé dans les montagnes, au milieu de la nature, idéal pour des moments détente et pour se ressourcer. Nous étions dans la Douira(petite maison) Maya qui est parfaite pour 5 personnes, nous prenions l'énorme petit déjeuner au soleil au bord de la piscine en plein mois de Novembre, et les repas du soir dans la tente berbère moderne très chaleureuse et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La nature est au centre de cette maison d'hôte, la Piscine à débordement sur la vallée d'Ourika entourée de bains de soleil, de sun beds et de petits espaces lounge pour prendre l'apéro au calme, ainsi que tous les animaux de ce domaine (les poules, les ânes, les Chats et surtout sans oublier Naya (Nounouille pour les intimes) qui est un amour de chien qui adore les caresses). Nous avons bien sure manger des plats locaux comme le Couscous, le Tajine, le Seffa... divinement préparer par l'équipe qui, en plus de nous régaler les papilles sont adorable et très attentionnés a notre bien être, nous avions vraiment l'impression d'être en famille... N'hésitez pas a vous renseigner sur les choses a faire sur place auprès de Fatiha et David ils sont de très bon conseils. Voila je crois qu'on a fait le tour mais ce qui est sure c'est que vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermer si vous recherchez du dépaysement, du repos et de la relaxation, parce que j'allais oublié de parler du Hammam typiquement Marocain chauffé au feu de bois et des massages relaxant qui ne faut surtout pas négliger dans votre séjour, en tout cas, ça nous a fait le plus grand bien. Nous y retournerons très prochainement avec grand plaisir. Bize a toute l'équipe et encore merci pour ces merveilleux moments.

Vous serez peut être surpris lors de votre arrivée à Ezriba Tadrara un village proche de Ourika mais c'est le vrai Maroc que vous découvrirez hors des sentiers battus et lorsque vous serez chez Fatiha et David vous serez comme dans un oasis au milieu du désert. Les jardins de Taja c'est un lieu fait de calme avec de petites maison berbères pleines de charmes et un personnel au petits soins pour vous, Achraf vous fera découvrir une cuisine marocaine authentique. Pour notre séjour nous avons pris l'option d'un chauffeur avec mise à disposition pour un rapport qualité prix inégalable avec un véhicule de location. A partir de des jardins de Taja vous pourrez aller à la découverte de beaucoup d'activités, visite de Marrakech, des jardins d'Anima, du safran , des montagnes de l'Atlas etc..
